While Nikitin is renowned for portraying the much-loved character, 'Tangaballi' in the blockbuster film, Chennai Express, his ladylove, Kratika has become a household name with her memorable performances in the popular television series, Jhansi Ki Rani. For the uninitiated, the lovebirds had taken their massive fanbase by surprise when they had announced the news of their first pregnancy in the most adorable manner possible. It was on November 13, 2021, when the gorgeous actress, Kratika Sengar had shared a cutesy picture on her social media handle. We could see her posing with Nikitin Dheer as they had looked breathtaking in their traditional outfits. Along with the picture, Kratika had shared the happy news in the caption, and it could be read as:

In a conversation with ETimes, Kratika Sengar shared the much-awaited news of becoming a mother. The actress shared that she and her husband, Nikitin Dheer are extremely happy after embracing parenthood for the first time on May 12, 2022. The actress also shared that her hubby, Nikitin is super-happy, and also their respective families are pouring immense love on them. The couple has been married for seven years, and becoming parents for the first time is indeed a special moment for Nikitin and Kratika. Reflecting on the priceless announcement, Kratika said:
"Nikitin is on a cloud and I don't even know the number! He is very excited to become a father and I feel extremely blessed and grateful that I will become a mother soon. This is a new phase and our entire family was waiting for a new member in our family. It will be a new phase in our lives because this is our first child. We have been married for seven years and this was a big surprise for us. We jumped with joy and our families are extremely happy about this."
When Kratika Sengar was in the last trimester of her first pregnancy period, in a heart-to-heart conversation with ETimes, the actress had opened up about her and her husband, Nikitin Dheer's decision to embrace parenthood. The actress had admitted that she and her hubby, Nikitin were quite unsure about starting a family during the COVID-19 lockdown. Reflecting on the reason behind their doubts and concerns, Kratika had mentioned:
"During lockdown every other person was having babies and getting married. But for us it was not that case. Nikitin and I were not at all in that mind frame to get pregnant or have babies as everyone was losing their loved ones. It was such a difficult time. We were not even sure of the future. How could we even think of having a new life into this world."
On May 3, 2022, the ever-so-gorgeous actress, Kratika Sengar had taken to her Instagram handle and had surprised her massive fanbase by dropping a series of jaw-dropping photos from her maternity photoshoot. In the pictures, Kratika had looked dreamy as she had flaunted her full-grown baby bump. Kratika could be seen donning a lime green ruffled gown and had pulled it off effortlessly. The actress had also worn a pair of dangling diamond earrings and had kept her tresses open. In the caption, she had also penned a heartfelt quote about her pregnancy journey that could be read as:
"Thankful, Grateful, Blessed."
