Kratika is one such actress who has power in her eyes and facial expressions, and her fans love her for that! Talking about her personal life, the actress gave her heart to dashing Ishqbaaaz actor, Nikitin Dheer.
For the ones who don’t know, Nikitin is the son of prolific actor, Pankaj Dheer. Nikitin and Kratika walked down the aisle on September 3, 2014. The couple will be completing five years of togetherness this year, and they are going strong in their marriage. Every now and then, the lovely duo expresses their love for each other online. And now, Nikitin has turned into a poet for his ladylove, Kratika. Nikitin took to his official Instagram handle and shared a throwback picture with Kratika from their reception. Turning into a poet, the Jodhaa Akbar actor wrote, “Tum aur main. do os ki boond jaise, zindagi ke safar mein mile, na jaane kab aur kaise, alag behte behte saath chalne lage. Ek hue, pani ban gae sagar mein mil gae. Haan Kratu, tum aur main ek ho gae.” Here’s the picture that he shared:
In 2018, Kratika’s pregnancy rumours started doing the rounds. Reports had it that the actress was quitting Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki due to her pregnancy. Soon, Kratika referred them as baseless rumours and was quoted as saying, "I just returned from a scuba diving trip. Had I been pregnant, my doctor would not have allowed it. Rumours of the show going off air and me quitting it has been doing the rounds for many months. As of now, I am not leaving it." On the other hand, a source had revealed to the Bombay Times, “Kasam is economically viable for the producers. Also, it recently got a year’s extension. Kratika is not pregnant, but she is not planning to renew her contract. She feels that the role is getting monotonous and she wants to try new things.”
In a media interaction once, Kratika had mentioned that Nikitin doesn’t like her intimate scenes on screen. She was quoted as saying, "It's true that he doesn't like to see me getting intimate with another actor on screen. It is natural; after all, he is my husband. Another reason, which I feel is valid, is that he doesn't like to see me crying all the time. And with daily soaps, there is a lot of rona-dhona! In a marriage, we have to accommodate each other's views. I won't do anything that would hurt him." Praising her hubby before their wedding, Kratika had shared, “Nikitin is a pure soul. The transparency is very visible in him. I always wanted a family like Nikitin's family and I am blessed to have him in my life. I am too excited. Punar Vivah ke baad ab sach mein mera pehla vivah hoga.”
Recently, on March 17, 2019, Kratika wished Nikitin on social media and wrote, “Happy birthday my love @nikitindheer. May God give U lots of happiness and good health. Love u.” Nikitin also took to his Instagram and thanked everyone who wished or surprised him on his birthday. He had written, “What makes a Birthday special for any of us, it's Family, it's Friends and for actors like me, it's my Fans too. Feel loved and feel extremely grateful for so many wishes and blessings that I have recieved. Feel grateful for having the most loving family one could ask for and a group of friends, that I know are with me, no matter what. This year, I'm extremely grateful for all that I have in life.
