Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood. The actor never leaves a chance to bag immense praise and success with his top-notch acting skills. Moreover, Nawazuddin often hits the headlines with his personal life. For the unversed, Nawaz parted ways with his estranged wife, Aaliya. The duo isn't divorced yet, but the feud between them had been the talk of the town for a long time. However, currently an old statement from the former Miss India pageant winner, Niharika Singh, caught our attention.
During the rise of the #Metoo movement, Niharika Singh made some startling revelations. During that time, the diva revealed three big names from Bollywood, which were Bhushan Kumar, Nawazuddin, and Sajid Khan. However, talking about Nawazuddin, Nikharika shared how she met Nawazuddin and got amazed by his performance. However, it was the actor who could easily catch Niharika's interest in him and invited her to his house for lunch.

Soon after, Nikharika and Nawaz talked about the latter's life and got to know the real him. Niharika revealed that once she invited Nawaz to her home for breakfast. Niharika mentioned that when she opened the door, Nawaz grabbed her, and she tried to get rid of it but gave in. The beautiful actress shared that Nawaz had told her that he always dreamt of having a Miss India or an actress wife, just like Paresh Rawal and Manoj Bajpayee.
She also mentioned that Nawazuddin opened up about being judged by his look, and Niharika tried to help him to get rid of these insecurities, but he was stuck in a state of victimisation. Talking about the same, Niharika shared:
"When I opened the door, he grabbed me. I tried to push him away but he wouldn't let go. After a little coercion, I finally gave in. I wasn't sure what to make of this relationship. He told me it was his dream to have a Miss India or an actress wife, just like Paresh Rawal and Manoj Bajpayee. I found his little confession funny but endearing. I was drawn to the stories from his life. I introduced him to my sister and my friends but he was very insecure around them and preferred to spend time with me alone. He often complained about how he was judged on his looks, skin color and that he wasn't fluent in English. I tried to help him deal with his insecurities, but he was stuck in a state of victimization."
The gorgeousness also mentioned that days after she found out that Nawaz only lied one after another. She found out that the actor was being engaged with several other women and giving every other of them other stories. Niharika also mentioned that she found out about a woman whom Nawaz would marry in Haldwani, whose family had sued him for making dowry demands. The actress went on to add about several other meetings that she had with the actor. However, it was in 2013 when Nawaz offered Niharika a film. The diva mentioned that time the actor tried to re-engage her sexually, begging her to be with him, but she refused, saying she was happy to be his friend and nothing else.

Further in the long letter, Niharika Singh called Nawazuddin Siddiqui sexually repressed. She also slammed the actor by saying that his toxic male entitlement grew with his success. Niharika also mentioned that the actor also carries deep caste prejudices. Niharika mentioned:
"Sexually repressed Indian man whose toxic male entitlement grew with his success is hardly surprising. What is interesting to note that despite not identifying as a Hindu, he carries deep caste prejudices since he chose to protect the honour of his ‘Brahmin’ wife after their names came in the CDR scam, while he felt very comfortable painting me as a seductress wearing faux fur in his book, who he could sexually exploit, for public imagination.”
It was back in 2017 when Nawazuddin Siddiqui's personal life grabbed a lot of limelight after his book, An Ordinary Life: A Memoir, was published. Soon after the publication of this book, people started hitting out at the actor for lying and fabricating stories in his book. It was Niharika who slammed the actor for telling lies in his book and making their personal life public without even her consent.
The whole incident also brought legal trouble for Nawaz when a Delhi-based advocate lodged a complaint with the National Commission for Women (NCW) for outraging Niharika's modesty. Along with Niharika, Nawaz's first girlfriend, Sunita Rajwar also accused him of lying in his book. And soon after all of this, Nawaz decided to withdraw his book. The actor took to his Twitter handle and told everyone about his decision. Nawaz's Tweet could be read as:
"I m apologising 2 every1 who's sentiments r hurt bcz of d chaos around my memoir #AnOrdinaryLifeI hereby regret & decide 2 withdraw my book (sic)".
