Jersey Shore's Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi Reveals Being Diagnosed With Stage 1 Cervical Cancer, 'Scary'

Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi rose to fame as she starred in MTV's Jersey Shore. She was seen in all six seasons from 2009 to 2012, and instantly grabbed the attention with her skills. Her partying antics, training beds and love for pickles instantly made the audience be in awe of her. 

Following Jersey Shore, Nicole was seen in snipoff series Snooki & Jwoww for four seasons from 2012 to 2015. Apart from that, she was also seen on Dancing With The Stars in 2013. Apart from being a TV personality, Nicole is also a famous author of Confessions of a Guidette (2011), A Shore Thing (2011) and Gorilla Beach (2014). Well, the gorgeous lady recently left her followers worried, as she revealed being diagnosed with stage 1 cervical cancer.

Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi reveals being diagnosed with stage 1 cervical cancer

Taking to her TikTok, Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi shared a video wherein she shared that she has been diagnosed with stage 1 cervical cancer called adenocarcinoma. She further added that it was definitely not the news she was hoping for, but she rather thanked god that her cancer was diagnosed at an early stage, making it curable. Nicole shared that she has been dealing with abnormal pap smears for the last three to four years.

She mentioned that she was hurt and scared, and thus, she was putting it off. She is a bit relieved as it's in stage 1, and although scary, it's curable. Nicole stated that in stage 2, people need to take chemo. Nicole can be quoted as saying:

"It came back stage 1 cervical cancer called adenocarcinoma. Obviously not the news I’ve been hoping for, but also not the worst news just because they caught it so early. Thank freaking God! I’m 38 years old and I’ve been struggling with abnormal pap smears for three or four years now, and now look at me. Instead of putting it off because I didn’t want to go, because I was hurt and scared, I just went and did it. And it was there, cancer is in there. But it’s stage 1 and it’s curable. Once you go to stage 2, then you have to do chemo... nobody wants to do that! It’s scary. So get your appointments done."

Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi talks about her treatment process

The reality star further revealed that she is being transferred to an oncologist and she will get a PET scan done soon, to check whether the cancer has spread anywhere in her body. After that, Nicole will go for a hysterectomy, and doctors have recommended her to have chemotherapy or radiation as an alternative, but she feels a hysterectomy is a smart choice, since she wants to keep her ovaries, while her cervix and uterus need to be removed, depending on the PET scan.

Nicole shared that 2026 isn't going in a way that she has planned, while also adding that it could have been even worse. Nicole mentioned that it's very common nowadays, while asking people to connect to her, so that no one with cervical cancer will have to do it alone. She remained positive and revealed that she's hoping to get better. Earlier, in a TikTok video, Nicole revealed that she has been dealing with precancerous cervical cells for years, and her doctors asked her to get it checked. As she didn't want to take the stress of it, she put it off.

For the unversed, Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi is married to Jionni LaValle. Before meeting Nicole, Jionni wanted to be a teacher; however, following this, he ventured into contracting and was seen in the 2016 home renovation show, Nicole & Jionni's Shore Flip. He is also a businessman and a sports lover. Jionni, and Nicole's love story is somewhat like enemies-to-lovers. On the show, Nicole revealed that she first hated him when she met him, but meeting him eventually changed her mind. However, the couple got married in 2014 in New Jersey. The couple has three children together: Lorenzo Dominic, born in 2012, followed by a daughter, Giovanna Marie, in 2014, and then another son, Angelo James, who was born in 2019.
