The years-long feud in the famous Beckham family is no news. However, things took a far more dramatic turn after Brooklyn Beckham dropped bombshell statements against his parents, David and Victoria Beckham. In case you missed it, Brooklyn made an explosive Instagram post on January 19, 2026, accusing the star cricketer and the designer of manipulating narratives.
One thing that particularly drew attention was Brooklyn's claim that Victoria backed out of making his wife Nicola Peltz's wedding dress at the "eleventh hour", which left the latter scrambling for a last-minute replacement. However, a resurfaced interview from Nicola's former stylist contradicts the narrative.
When Nicola Peltz walked down the aisle in her Palm Beach wedding in 2022, she was dressed in a custom Valentino Haute Couture gown that also featured matching gloves and a long French lace veil. The moment one looks at it, they are surely to be mesmerised by its ethereal simplicity.
Shortly after that strictly private ceremony, Vogue published an interview with Hollywood dresser Leslie Fremar, the stylist behind Nicola's bridal ensemble. That time, Fremar had mentioned that the dress was the result of a year-long couture process. The dresser described the gown an "ultimate couture experience" and the veil and the handmade lace gloves a "work of art".
Fremar had revealed to Vogue that the look came together after months of trial and errors, redesigning, multiple fittings, and trips to Rome. She described the gown was the most beautiful dress she had ever seen. In light of these revelations, Brooklyn's now-viral "eleventh hour" arrangement claim appears to largely contradict the previous details about the gown.

The Beckham and the Peltz family has been feuding for years now, and, as per Brooklyn's recent statement, the rift surfaced even before the wedding. The allegation has revived theh long-running rumours that the fallout between Nicola and the Beckhams began with the wedding dress. In his recent statement, Brooklyn wrote:
"My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn't stopped. My mum cancelled making Nicola's dress at the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress."
Past sources had suggested that the Victoria had initially offered to design Nicola's wedding gown but stepped away close to the wedding, leaving the Transformers 4 actress unfairly blamed. The resurfaced comments of Fremar, however, suggest Nicola’s Valentino dress was carefully planned well in advance, raising questions about the timeline Brooklyn described.
Brooklyn alleged that his family's attempts to berate Nicola were consistent, and it reached a whole new level when his mother, Victoria, allegedly "hijacked" his first dance with Nicola as newlyweds. The 26-year-old model mentioned in his statement how, when singer Marc Anthony called him and Nicola on the stage, Victoria was already there, waiting to dance with him. He also mentioned that he felt humiliated by an inappropriate dance of his mother in front of 500 guests.

Eyewitnesses had told Page Six that Victoria had wrapped her hands around her son, and nuzzled into his neck, dancing "very inappropriately." While the Beckams cheered and clapped at the moment, the Peltz side watched it all in stunned silence. Nicola reportedly left the venue crying and humiliated.
David and Victoria Beckham have not publicly responded to their son’s latest accusations. Sources close to the family say Brooklyn has no interest in reconciliation, while insiders sympathetic to him insist his broader claims about family dynamics are true.
