'Life Destroyed Over Having Affair' NFL Legend Points Out Dianna Russini Losing Job Amid Affair Buzz

Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini's scandal has taken over the world. With more and more people coming out and talking about Mike and Dianna's affair, the matter is getting messier. From speculations to Dianna losing her career, a lot has been going on with the former NFL reporter. On the other hand, Mike has been doing his best to save his marriage. Amidst it, NFL legend Cris Carter sided with Dianna Russini and pointed out how Mike Vrabel is still the star of the Patriots.

Cris Carter points out how Dianna lost her career while Mike Vrabel continues to lead

Recently, NFL legend Cris Carter opened up about the whole affair and the wrong treatment of Dianna, which cost her career. In the latest episode of the Fully Loaded Podcast, Carter pointed out that Dianna shouldn't have lost her job, as many believe that no network would want to hire her after this. Meanwhile, an insider claimed that currently, Dianna is trying to build her career back in the midst of the affair buzz.

Cris added that it was unfair treatment towards Dianna. He stated that it destroyed her life over having an affair with an NFL coach. Cris also revealed that Dianna has been going through an extremely horrific situation just because she is a woman. He said:

"No one was surprised by the information. But to have her life altered and destroyed over having an affair, you know, with an NFL coach, I don’t care if he was a school teacher. That shouldn’t ruin or alter her career. And it has. I do know people who have talked to Dianna, and this has been a horrific situation for her. And it shouldn't be that way, but it is because she's a female."

Cris further added that it was unfair for Dianna, while Mike faced no consequence for his actions or any punishments whatsoever from Patriots owner Robert Kraft. As the owner doesn't wish to change his contract or employment. Many even claim that what Mike did was his personal code of conduct and not a breach of his employment. Cris said:

“From a Robert Kraft’s standpoint, he’s not going to change his contract. He’s not going to change his employment."

But the internet has a completely different take on the controversy and Dianna's resignation. One user pointed out how Dianna indulged in an affair with her source, "Ummm no…. The fallout from this is not at all, “unfair” - and it is not because Dianna is a woman. Spare me. Her being forced to resign was rightfully based on performance and ethical misconduct. As a Journalist, she willingly took part in a consensual romantic relationship with a source who would supply her with intel that she otherwise may not have received.  From a journalistic standpoint, this relationship was purely one-sided, as Coach Vrabel is exactly that: a Coach. Morally, they were obviously both in the wrong. But Professional Ethics, were infringed upon enough by one party, to warrant a termination or resignation. Mike’s job is to win Football games and lead players with that as the sole focus. Dianna’s job was to communicate stories to her audience, through ethically accumulating trusted sources - for such topics. That’s why he still has his job, and she does not."

Another user penned that Dianna resigned to prevent an investigation into the matter, "Her employer has a code of ethics requirement that covers reporter/subject relationships. She denied the affair, and the employer was going to conduct an investigation to protect itself. She resigned in an attempt to prevent that investigation from happening. Vrabel coaches football, and they don't care who he sleeps with."
