Bollywood actress, Sonam Kapoor and her husband, Anand Ahuja embraced parenthood for the first time on August 20, 2022 after four years of their grand wedding. Indeed, it's a joyful time for the doting parents as they are blessed with a baby boy. For the unversed, it was on March 22, 2022, when the doting parents had collaboratively taken to their IG handle and announced her pregnancy news. Since then, Sonam and Anand being avid social media users had shared a loy of glimpses from her pregnancy phase.
Finally, on August 20, 2022, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja had collaboratively taken to their IG handles and announced their 'good news' by posting an aesthetic postcard. The beautiful post also included the newbie parents' enthusiasm upon embracing parenthood for the first time. In an interview with Vogue India, Sonam Kapoor opened up about her and her husband, Anand Ahuja's decision regarding where they would like to school their child. She mentioned that though she hasn't decided the same, however, she feels more homely in India. Talking about the privacy issues which many star kids used to face, she said:
"I haven’t decided whether I’m going to school our child here or in London, but I definitely know I feel more at home in India. I’m a proper Bombay girl. There will be the issue of privacy if I raise my child here, but I see many star kids leading completely regular lives so we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it."
Just a few days before her delivery, on August 4, 2022, Sonam had posted a picture on her IG stories which is relatable to many pregnant ladies. In the picture, we could see the then-mom-to-be's swollen feet, which she was resting on her bed. She was seen wearing her comfy PJs and looked simply adorable. Atop it, Sonam had written:
"Pregnancy is not pretty sometimes."

Sonam has never shied away from the media during her pregnancy, instead, she had flaunted her baby bump while doing every sort of activity. For instance, on July 8, 2022, Sonam had posted a cutesy IG story and set some pure goals for all pregnant ladies.
