Sonam Kapoor is keeping up with her mom life quite well. She held her baby boy, Vayu Kapoor Ahuja, in her arms for the first time on August 20, 2022. Since then, the actress has left no stone unturned to give the best life possible to her little munchkin. From curating cute clothes for him to celebrating his monthly birthdays with themed cakes, Sonam has been showering maa ka pyaar on her ladla like no other.
On September 1, 2022, she had taken to her IG stories and shared a glimpse of her post-partum belly bump. In the picture, Sonam could be heard saying that she was still wearing her maternity dress, which was from Nike. She further added that her post-partum belly is not in yet but looks pretty to her. In her words:
“Still wearing my Nike maternity. Tummy’s not completely in yet but looks great.”

On October 22, 2022, Sonam Kapoor took to her IG space and dropped a Reel, featuring her postnatal workout journey. She filmed the video after 60 days of Vayu’s birth and showed us how she has been keeping up with her fitness regime and health. The new mommy revealed that being a working mommy is difficult as she feels scared and excited at the same time. She also shared how she gets tired quickly now. Check out the video!

Earlier in an interview with Vogue India, Sonam Kapoor had recalled her life's most memorable moment when she found out about her first pregnancy. Though Sonam’s hubby, Anand Ahuja, was diagnosed with Covid-19 at that time and was confined to a closed room, she had shared the ‘good news’ with him over a video call. Sonam could be quoted as narrating:
“I found out I was pregnant on Christmas Day. Anand was in the other room of our London apartment since he had Covid-19 and I basically Zoomed (video called) him and gave him the news. Then we called our parents and told them as well.”

On September 9, 2022, Anand Ahuja had taken to his IG feed and had given us a glimpse of his shopping. In the picture, we could see how Anand bought two sneakers for himself and two for his boy, which were exactly identical to one another. Alongside it, he had penned:
“Most recent pickups.”
