Mouni Roy had tied the knot with Suraj Nambiar on January 27, 2022, in Goa as per Malayali and Bengali traditions to pay tribute to each other’s traditions and customs. Their pictures and videos had gone viral over the internet and the actress, too, has been sharing glimpses from the biggest day of her life on her IG handle. As Mouni’s wedding festivities are over, the actress was spotted in the city, and her shankha pola and gold kadha talked about how much she values her and her husband's traditions.
A day after her wedding, on January 28, 2022, Mouni Roy was spotted enjoying her post-wedding bash with her friends and family. The new bride had worn a jazzy green bralette-style crop top with a matching side-slit skirt. She had left her hair open and had flaunted her sindoor, shankha pola (white and red bangles worn by a Bengali bride) and gold kadha (as per Malayali wedding).
It’s been a week since Mouni Roy’s wedding and the actress has been flaunting her new bride glow wherever she goes. Mouni was spotted in the city looking ethereal in a black and pink floral suit with a short frock kurta and sharara. Her faded mehendi and sindoor added the new bride charm to her look. However, what we love about her look was the way she has been paying tribute to her Bengali traditions with shankha pola and her husband, Suraj Nambiar’s Malayali traditions with gold kadhas. Check out!
On January 30, 2022, Mouni Roy had shared a series of videos and pictures on her IG stories from her griha pravesh ceremony. The actress was seen happily entering her home with Suraj as their friends had cheered for them with a dhol. Mouni had also shared a video from her ring finding rasam as she had competed with Suraj and had won the round. The newly-wedded couple had also hosted an after-party for their friends, and Mouni gave modern bride vibes as she had changed into a red short dress post the wedding rituals and had flaunted her sindoor, shankha pola and gold kadha along with it.
On January 27, 2022, Mouni had shared the first pictures with her husband, Suraj Nambiar, from their Malayali wedding on her IG handle. From their memorable sindoor moment to a glimpse of their jaimala, it was a set of some dream-like pictures from their wedding ceremony. Mouni had captioned her post as:
"I found him at last.. Hand in hand, blessed by family & friends, We re married!!!!!!!!!!! Need your love and blessings… 27.01.22 Love, Suraj & Mouni.”
Later, on the night of January 27, 2022, Mouni and Suraj had again tied the knot as per the Bengali traditions. On January 28, 2022, Mouni had shared the first pictures with her husband, Suraj from their Bengali wedding on her IG handle. While one picture had shown the then-bride and groom posing happily with each other, in the other one Suraj could be seen applying sindoor on Mouni's head.
We love how Mouni has been following the traditions of her family and Suraj’s family with all her heart!
