Queen Of Tears is an upcoming South Korean drama which features Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won in lead roles. The drama is all set to grace our screens from March 9, 2024, and will be aired exclusively on Netflix for Indian audiences. The trailer of the drama, along with some stills from the same recently, was released, and netizens could not help but notice how the makers have impersonated Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin’s actual wedding backdrop for the drama. This is among the first where real-life wedding setups are influencing reel life.
For the unversed, Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin tied the knot on March 31, 2022, and soon welcomed their beautiful baby boy in November 2022. The couple’s wedding was a dreamy affair, and their wedding setup was spectacular and fairytale-coded. Which is probably why the drama makers were influenced by the same.

In the trailer of Queen Of Tears and the pictorial stills released by the makers, we noticed that the drama has an elaborate wedding sequence whose backdrop is exactly the same as Hyun Bin And Son Ye Jin's 2022 wedding. The backdrop was decorated with white, pink, and green floral arrangements. Not only was the backdrop similar, but the wedding outfits seemed inspired, too. Kim Soo Hyun donned a black tuxedo similar to Hyun Bin, and even Kim Ji Won's lacey white-wedding dress was the same as Son Ye Jin's.
As soon as the pictures and videos of the wedding sequence were released, they were shared by the netizens on multiple social media platforms, and they all were in awe of the dreamy fairytale-like wedding impersonation. It is also worth noting that the writers of Crash Landing On You and Queen Of Hearts are the same, which is why there is no bad blood between the makers and the CLOY couple for impersonating their real wedding setup.

Queen Of Tears is a story of a common man who got hitched to a daughter of a chaebol.
