While 2020 has been showering with lockdown wedding and pregnancy news, but the biggest surprise has come from Bollywood’s chul buli singer, Neha Kakkar, who is all set to tie the knot with her beau, Rohanpreet Singh. The speculations about the Neha and Rohanpreet had begun when Neha had posted a line from one of her songs with Rohanpreet, “Aaja chal viyah karwaiye lockdown vich katt hone kharche” on her IG stories. On October 24, 2020, Neha had tied the knot with her soulmate, Rohanpreet in a Gurudwara in Delhi. For the wedding, the beautiful bride, Neha Kakkar had ditched the traditional shades of red for her bridal ensemble and had opted for subtle shades of pink. The handsome groom, Rohanpreet Singh had also colour-coordinated his wedding outfit in shades of pastel pink with his bride. Neha's lehenga had heavy golden embroidery work with golden border, a heavy golden maang teeka and choker neckpiece accentuated her look. Her minimal makeup had won our hearts.
Neha Kakkar and Rohanpreet hosted a grand reception in Chandigarh on October 26, 2020 and it was a star-studded affair. A video of the beautiful couple singing a song together is making the rounds on social media. Neha started singing the song and her husband, Rohanpreet Singh joined her. Looking into each other’s eyes while singing together, Neha and Rohanpreet looked like a match-made-in-heaven.
For the grand reception, Neha Kakkar had chosen a white lehenga and had paired with white net dupatta, and a neckpiece of green emeralds. Hair tied in a pasty bun and minimal makeup with a tinge of sindoor and red chooda in her hands had imparted her the glow of a newly-wed bride, and we couldn't take our eyes off her! The handsome groom, Rohanpreet Singh had twinned with his wifey in a white shirt paired with a royal blue-coloured blazer and a white turban. For the mehendi ceremony, the beautiful couple had twinned in the shades of green. While Neha had opted for Anita Dongre's green Banarasi lehenga, with Anita Dongre's choker set, Rohanpreet had gone for a green bandhgala kurta pyjama. Along with the couple pictures, Neha had also posted pictures flaunting her mehendi, which had clearly shown her hubby-to-be, Rohanpreet's name on her ring finger. Sharing the pictures, Neha had written, "Mehendi Lagaungi Main Sajna @rohanpreetsingh Ke Naam Ki", whereas, Rohanpreet's caption could be read as "Look at My Bride to be!!!"
The Kakkar family had flown to Delhi for Neha and Rohanpreet’s wedding. Their wedding festivities had begun with the haldi ceremony on October 23, 2020. Social media was abuzz with their beautiful pictures and it had won our hearts. The adorable couple had looked stunning in their haldi outfits. Neha had looked gorgeous in a plain yellow saree while Rohanpreet had twinned with his ladylove in a yellow kurta.
