Bollywood singing sensation, Neha Kakkar has been through a lot in her personal life. She has been dealing with her personal issues beautifully and giving breathtaking performances and winning everyone’s heart. Ever since Valentine’s Day 2018, reports were rife that Neha and Himansh Kohli were linked romantically and their Instagram posts were enough to add spark to the fire. The madly-in-love couple was the talk of the town but never spoke about their relationship openly. After dating for a few months, the duo parted ways for the reasons best known to them. The duo unfollowed each other on social media handles and it was enough to spark the rumours about their breakup.
Neha Kakkar, who has been open about facing depression due to her personal life had a rough time coping with her personal issues and breakup with Himansh Kohli. Neha, who is judging singing reality show, Indian Idol, in one of the episodes dedicated one song to her ex, Himansh. One of the contestants, Adriz Ghosh performed on the song, Channa Mereya from the movie, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and left everyone mesmerised. In the promo released by the SonyTv officials, Neha could be seen saying, “Your voice has so much depth. It seemed that your voice suited so well for this song. The way you sang just touched by heart deeply. I wish for you to take singing to another level.” She also mentioned that she will join him in singing the song for her ex.
Neha Kakkar, in an interview with Dainik Bhasker, had opened up about her breakup with Himansh Kohli, falling in love again. Talking about coping up with heartbreak, Neha had revealed, “That phase of my life was very difficult. Yes, I was into depression and it was difficult for me to cope up with it. It was the worst phase; however, I have come out of it now. Right now, all I can say is that being single is the best feeling of my life. You know what, when I was in a relationship, I was not being able to give time to my family and my friends. At that time, I dedicated all my time and energy to that person who does not deserve it. I missed so many beautiful moments with my family members, especially with my siblings. Neha Kakkar had also opened up on falling in love again and had said, “Thankfully, I have moved on from this bad relationship. I am really in a happy space now. I have realised that my family is more deserving than anybody else in my life. I am happy with whatever happened because that made me realise the importance of my family members. With this bad experience, I am not open to love again. As I said, I happy to be single!”
In an interview with the HT, Himash Kohli had for the first time, bared it all out about his breakup with Neha Kakkar, chances of reconciliation and how has it been so far. He had shared, “It has been a year now and looking back, I never felt like talking about it.” The duo had made their relationship official in September 2018 and in December, they had parted ways. Speaking about the same, Himansh had said, “Whatever happened has happened. I can’t change it now. I still respect and wish the best for [Neha]. In bad times, we don’t stop respecting each other. She’s a fabulous artist and a wonderful person. I just wish that she gets whatever she wants in life, and blessed with happiness and good health.”
When asked if Himansh Kohli will ever work with his ex-muse, Neha Kakkar, he had shared, “Why not, why will I say no to good work? If good offers come our way, as a professional, I’d definitely work with her. Our song, Oh Humsafar (2018), was a huge hit and got millions of views. People still say nice things about it. So, I will never say no to working on an interesting project with Neha.” The 29-year-old star had also revealed that he would like to keep only good things and let go of the ‘things’ that didn’t work in his favour, “That’s the way ahead in life. At this point in my life, I really don’t have time for love. I think I should be working now. The focus is on my career.
