Recently, Neha faced major backlash for her song, Candy Shop.

Neha Kakkar seems to be obsessed with K-pop, which is why her latest song gives off a lot of Korean vibes. While it looks like an interesting take, fans are shocked to see Neha in a bold avatar. The lyrics are catchy, but many are trolling the singer for the double-meaning song, and the whole feel of the video is a bit too much for Neha's fans, who loved seeing her in romantic peppy numbers.

A clip of the same was shared on Reddit, and users expressed their shock. One user wrote, "Is she India's answer to labubu dolls." A second one penned, "Where she was always headed - cringevilla! Can we ban her and her brother from making songs, please?" A third one penned, "But how is her brother okay with this, my brother would have trolled me if I would have attempted this, support aur collaboration tho door ki baat hain." Another one wrote, "Mat criticize kar bhai fir iska bhai defend karne aa jayga on the pretext of calling it a gen-z pop song."

When Neha Kakkar was trolled for her weird outfit choice

A while ago, Neha shared glimpses of her appearance at a college event. The singer was dressed in a white-coloured top, paired with two joggers — a blue one and another grey-hued pair. However, it was her weird outfit choice as she wore a blue-hued bra over her top. Glamorous makeup and hair left open completed her look. She was also seen flaunting a Lububu doll with her outfit.

While Neha looked gorgeous, netizens reacted to her look. One user wrote, "Everything is ok but your dressing sense is zero." Another netizen commented, "Literally bhut zyada wahiyat lgrha h dress." A third one penned, "Braa upar ku phne ho.." A fourth user commented, "Confidence 100 dressing sense 0."

Neha Kakkar's recent controversy

Neha Kakkar received a lot of trolling earlier this year, after she arrived late at her Melbourne concert and was seen crying and apologising. However, it was Tony Kakkar, Neha's brother, who first came to her support with his cryptic note. He even penned a strong statement saying, 'Artist Maryada mein rahe aur audience...' Later, Neha talked about what happened to her. 

Neha revealed that she performed the concert for free for her Melbourne audience, as the organisers had run away with her money. She stated that her band was not given food, a hotel, or even water. Despite all the ordeals, she had still taken the stage for her fans, who were waiting for her. She wrote:

"Do you all know that I performed absolutely free for my Melbourne audience? The organisers ran away with my money and others too. My band was not even given food, hotel and even water. My husband and his boys went and provided them food. Inspite of all this we still went on stage and did the show without any rest or anything because there my fans were waiting for hours for me."
