In the recent episode of Koffee With Karan 8, veteran actresses, Neetu Kapoor and Zeenat Aman graced the couch. From their personal lives, controversies and film careers, Neetu and Zeenat talked about various aspects of their lives. During one of the segments, Neetu talked about her granddaughter, Raha Kapoor and revealed how she wanted her pothi to call Papa first.
For the unversed, Raha Kapoor is the daughter of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt and one of the most loved celeb kids in B-town. Talking about Raha, Neetu got excited and stated that she keeps asking the househelp to tell Raha to say papa. She also revealed how Alia told Neetu that Raha said mumma first, to which Neetu corrected Alia and said it was mum-mum.
As soon as the episode was telecast, the particular clip of Neetu talking about Raha went viral and netizens reacted to the same. Seeing the video, many social media users reacted and stated how Neetu is a typical mother-in-law. One of the users wrote, “Typical Toxic Mom-in-law behaviour.” Another commented, “Sad that we are glorifying the fact that she wants her to say Papa and Dada first.”

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's daughter was born on November 6, 2022, and they named her Raha Kapoor. The unique name was chosen by none other than the baby girl's doting dadi, Neetu Kapoor. It was during the Kapoor family Christmas lunch when Ranbir and Alia introduced their daughter to the paps.
For her first look, the blue-eyed star kid wore the perfect Christmas dress. In the glimpses, Raha was seen dressed in a pink and white tulle dress with a Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer work embellished on it. She completed her look with a pair of red shoes and pink floral clips.
During the music launch event of Animal, Ranbir Kapoor was asked about what he tells his daughter whenever he is away from her, and they are on video calls. To this, Ranbir gave an adorable reply and said that Raha learned to respond as she has been knocking eyes, giving flying kisses, and making a sweet hug gesture whenever she has to say 'I love you'. Raha's doting dad also said that it is the biggest joy of his life.
