Neetu Kapoor Burst Out Crying Remembering Late Rishi Kapoor, Says, 'Roz Koi Na Koi Yaad Dilata Hai'

"End of our story" – this was Neetu Kapoor's eulogy for Rishi Kapoor. A picture of Rishi Kapoor, holding a drink in his hand and flashing his brightest smile and the heartfelt caption had left everyone teary-eyed. Ever since Rishi Kapoor's death on April 30, 2020, there is not a single day, when Neetu Kapoor doesn’t think of him. However, the actress had gathered the broken pieces of her heart and had begun the second innings of her life.

For the uninitiated, it was on September 29, 2018, when Rishi Kapoor had tweeted about his diagnosis. In 2020, he had left for the heavenly abode after fighting a long battle with leukaemia. Even today, we miss him being his unapologetic self in interviews and media interactions. Now, in one of the clips released by the reality show, Dance Deewane Juniors, Neetu Kapoor was seen getting emotional while remembering him.

Neetu Kapoor is currently judging the dance reality show, Dance Deewane Juniors and the makers of the show released a clip from the upcoming episode. In the clip, a contestant's grandmother recalls her connection with Rishi Kapoor. She reveals that her husband had met Rishi Kapoor in 1974 and the actor had helped him a lot. Hearing her statement, Neetu gets emotional.

After revealing the same, she sings Reshma's popular song, 'lambi judaai' for Neetu Kapoor, after which the actress burst out in tears. Revealing how she meets people on a daily basis, who are connected to him and has some beautiful memories to share about him. With tears flowing from her cheeks, Neetu says:

"Humara kuch toh connection hoga. Abhi do saal hone wale hai aur mai aap se mili. Mein roz kisi na kisi se milti hu aur roz koi na koi mujhe unki yaad dila deta hai. Sabki ek story hai unke saath. Aur sab itne khushi se yaad karte hai."

On April 29, 2022, Neetu Singh took to her IG handle and posted a video from the sets of Dance Deewane Juniors, where the veteran actress was seen dancing to Rishi Kapoor's songs with co-hosts, Marzi, Nora Fatehi and anchor, Karan Kundrra. Showing her best moves, Neetu penned:

"My three Lovly friends @marzipestonji @norafatehi @kkundrra celebrate Rishiji’s songs on #dancedeewanejuniors… this was quite a favorite from Amar Akbar Anthony."

If there was someone, who had stood by Rishi Kapoor like a rock throughout his treatment, then it was his wife, Neetu Kapoor. Taking care of him just like a mother, Neetu was his strongest pillar. After one month of Rishi Kapoor’s death, Neetu Kapoor had taken to her IG handle and had shared a throwback picture with him to begin her second innings in life. Along with the picture, she had penned an emotional note, which could be read as:

“Wish me luck as you wave me goodbye Cheerio, here I go on my way. With a cheer, not a tear, in your eye Give me a smile, I can keep for a while, In my heart while I'm away.”
