Neena Gupta Reveals Being Ditched By Her Fiance Last Minute Over A Trivial Issue, 'I Got A Call..'

Bollywood veteran actress, Neena Gupta revealed how her life changed after she decided to be a single mom. Neena had decided not to get married to her fiance, who had broken up with her for a silly reason. Neena also shared how her fiance returned to her life, and at that time she told him to ‘f**k off’. Did Neena Gupta's fiance ditch her because of his sinus operation?

Neena Gupta reveals being ditched by her fiance because of his sinus issue

Neena Gupta sat down for an interview with the Humans Of Bombay and revealed of how she dealt with her engagement being broken. She did not take the name of the person but revealed of being ditched by him at the last minute. In her mind, she had already planned to have a kid with him and was engaged to him. The actress revealed that she had the ring and had gone to Delhi to buy her jewellery and clothes. Neena then got a call from her fiance saying that he did not wish to go ahead with the same. She shared:

“He said he needs to undergo a sinus operation. I said, it’s not a very major issue and can be done later too. I kept asking his parents what had happened, and to this date, I still don’t know why he did it. When he came back after six months or something and said, I wanna marry you. I said, f**k off. Now I don’t.”

Neena Gupta reveals she never decided to have a child without getting married

Neena Gupta in the interview also shared of making the brave decision of having a child before marriage. She revealed that these things are not decided in life, but there are times when a person undergoes some circumstances that make them take some decisions in life. She feels that no one should judge anyone for the decisions they make. Neena revealed that she had never decided to have a baby without getting married to the love of her life. However, there are circumstances that happen in life that put you in situations where there is no way out.

Neena Gupta reveals being advised abortion when she was pregnant with Masaba during an affair with Vivian Richards

Neena Gupta is known to be brave as she raised her daughter, Masaba, without even getting married. The actress was dating cricketer, Vivian Richards and first met him during a dinner party which was hosted by the Maharani of Jaipur. They started dating, and soon she became pregnant. However, Neena had made the decision of not having an abortion and went ahead to have Masaba without getting married to Vivian Richards. She had no regrets of continuing her pregnancy. The actress, in her autobiography named Sach Kahun Toh, revealed how she was advised by many to undergo an abortion. In her words:

"Vivian and I had an affair and I got pregnant. He had already returned home when I found out. Some people advised me to get an abortion. Others cautioned against the perils of being a single parent. I listened to everyone patiently. They were all very concerned, I know. But once I was back home and alone, I asked myself: What do you think? How does this make you feel? The answer was: I was giddy with joy."
