Popular South Indian duo, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are all set to tie the marital knot on June 9, 2022, and their massive fanbase can't wait to see them together as a married couple. Nayanthara and Vignesh were supposed to get married at the Tirupati temple, however, they have shifted their wedding venue to Mahabalipuram. Recently, Vignesh addressed it and revealed the reason behind it.
For those who don't know, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan had fallen in love with each other while shooting for their first film together, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in 2016. It was Vignesh's directorial debut, and it was Nayanthara's first film with the director. Slowly, their relationship had grown from friends to lovers, and now they are ready to become each other's forever partners.

As per a Pinkvilla report got the information that Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan were supposed to get married at the Tirupati temple. However, at the last moment, the couple has changed their venue, and in a recent media interaction, Vignesh shared the reason and said:
"We wanted to get married in a temple. However, there were logistics issues and it was difficult to bring our families to Tirupati. Hence, we decided to change the wedding venue to Mahabalipuram in Chennai."
Nayanthara and Vignesh had arranged a press conference to declare their wedding date to the media. According to a Pinkvilla report, they have confirmed that they are going to tie the knot on June 9, 2022, in an intimate wedding ceremony. Even though Nayanthara and Vignesh had wanted to have a grand destination wedding, however, for personal reasons, they had to opt for an intimate one. A close source to the couple had mentioned in a conversation with Pinkvilla that the duo will host a lavish reception for their industry friends. The source could be quoted as saying:
"It is going to be an intimate affair in presence of their family members. While the wedding will be attended only by their family members, the couple will host a grand wedding party for their industry friends in Chennai. Samantha and Vijay Sethupathi are expected to attend. It is going to be as grand as possible."
