Actor, Allu Sirish has officially tied the knot with his longtime partner, Nayanika Reddy. Allu Sirish is the brother of much-celebrated actor, Allu Arjun. For the unversed, the two exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony that happened on March 6, 2026. Now, Allu Sirish in a recent interview revealed that Nayanika was stopped at the gate of the venue just a few moments before the wedding ceremony. Read on to know the reason behind it!
Recently, Allu Sirish and his wife, Nayanika Reddy sat down for a candid conversation soon after their wedding. According to a recent report by Vogue India, Allu Sirish shared that their wedding venue was packed with security and on the big day, Nayanika was running late for the same. When she reached the venue, the security failed to recognise her and didn’t allow her to enter. Allu Sirish revealed that the security allowed her only when family members told them that she was the bride. Allu Sirish was quoted as saying:
"The police had cordoned off the entire venue for security reasons and weren’t letting any cars in. Nayanika was running late and they stopped her car. She kept saying, ‘I’m the bride,’ but they didn’t let her through until a few people from inside came to get her. It was a very brisk bridal entry. It honestly felt like a movie scene."

During the same conversation, Allu Sirish and Nayanika Reddy shared insights from their traditional wedding ceremony. For those who do not know, Allu Sirish wore a dhoti and a khanduva, whereas Nayanika opted for a Kanjeevaram saree. She paired it with a traditional gold waist belt and a vintage diamond necklace. Talking about the tradition, Allu Sirish shared that the culture is over 2000 years old, and the "least we can do is be custodians of it and pass it on to one more generation."

One of the major rituals of Allu Sirish and Nayanika's wedding was Jeelakarra Bellam, during which the couple puts a mixture of herbs and jaggery on each other's hands while making the vows. Talking about the same, Nayanika shared, "That’s the moment when the marriage is considered official in our tradition. The belief is that when it’s placed on the forehead, the Agnya Chakra is activated, and the vows taken at that moment become sacred."

Further, Allu Sirish took a moment to appreciate his brother and sister-in-law for their support during the entire ceremony. He explained that Allu Arjun made sure that he was able to interact with every single guest. He also spoke fondly about Nayanika’s sister and stated that they planned everything perfectly. He also mentioned that soon he will take the job of planning a wedding when Nayanika’s sister gets married. In his words:

"He (Allu Arjun) made it a point to personally welcome and spend time with everyone who came. He really went above and beyond. In a few years, Nayanika’s sister might get married, and then my niece. Watching how they stepped in and took on the role of hosts made us realise that someday we’ll be on that side too, organising weddings for the next generation."
For those who do not know, Allu Sirish and Nayanika met at a cousin’s wedding, where they exchanged numbers and ended up talking for a long time. Soon after that, they started dating. Later, when the duo went on a trip to Seoul with their friends, they realised that they are perfect for each other. After coming back, they dated each other for a while, before announcing their engagement on social media.

Congratulations Allu Sirish and Nayanika Reddy!
