Unlike her other family members, including her brother, Agastya Nanda, she didn't join the film industry. Rather, Navya went on to make her own path by becoming an entrepreneur, podcaster and women's rights advocate. For the unversed, Navya Naveli Nanda was born to Shweta Bachchan and Nikhil Nanda on December 6, 1997. Recently, an old picture of Navya with her friend, Orhan Awatramani has been going viral on the internet, and netizens are reacting strongly to it.
Recently, a Reddit user shared two old pictures of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan's granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda on the discussion platform. In the first picture, a candid moment of the star kid along with her friend, Orhan Awatramani was captured. Moreover, Navya can be seen shelling out some major fashion goals as she donned a shimmery corset top with a white shirt and bold makeup. On the other hand, Orry donned a black sweatshirt.

In the next picture, Navya can be seen giving full Gen-Z vibes with her sultry poses. She can be seen posing with Orhan for the camera, and undoubtedly, the duo was having a great time at the party. In the black and white picture, Orhan and Navya looked stunning in their respective ensembles.
Soon after Navya's old pictures with Orhan were shared on the discussion platform, netizens started flooding the comment section of the post. While some took a dig at Navya's expressions in the pictures, others discussed whether they were legally allowed to enter a club at that time. Reacting to the pictures, one of the Reddit users recalled Amitabh Bachchan's dialogue from Mohabbatein and wrote, "Parampara prathistha and anushashan bas." Another one commented, "Navya? Seem happy high both of them. Hard to be a rich teen in this social media driven world. All your shenanigans are public."
One more comment can be read as "The thing is, were they even of legal age to enter the club? This applies to other nepo kids as well, as there are numerous photo of them in various clubs..." Another comment can be read as "I remember her posting bikini party pics wherein she was drinking and smoking in early 2010s on instagram . It was only after she wanted to relaunch herself did she delete those and became this intellectual podcaster."

Being from one of the most reputed Bollywood families, Navya has a legacy to continue with utmost respect and care. And she opened up about the same during an interaction with India Today. When asked about receiving criticism because of her legacy or surname, Navya shared that people keep talking about her last name and legacy a lot. Elaborating more about it, she said:
"It’s an interesting question! People usually keep talking about my last name and legacy and I love reminding people that everyone has a last name. It is not just my responsibility to live up to mine but everyone has a last name that means something that demands value and respect."
