Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan’s daughter, Shweta Bachchan leads a life away from the glitz and glam of the entertainment industry. While her family members are bonafide actors in Bollywood, Shweta has never ventured into acting. She enjoys a great friendship with many A-listers in Tinseltown, but her bond with Karan Johar is unbreakable. For the unversed, Karan and Shweta are childhood friends, and they never shy away from flaunting their love and respect for each other.
In 2021, Karan Johar and Shweta Bachchan appeared on Neha Dhupia’s show, BFFs With Vogue, and the duo indulged in some hilarious banter. During the same, Shweta shared that Karan is the most uncool person at a party as he hangs out with a lot of young people. She also revealed a hilarious anecdote that once KJo was told about EDM at a party, and ever since then, he was crazy for EDM wherever he was with his friends. Shweta said:
“Karan is the most uncool person at a party. These days, he hangs out with a lot of young people. And then they must have said something about EDM one time. And every time we have hung out after that, Karan has been like, ‘Guys let’s put on some EDM’. We’re like, ‘Do you even know what EDM even is?’ He is trying and my heart goes out to him, but, no, please stop it.”

Following this, Neha Dhupia asked Karan about a parenting advice that he would like to give Shweta. To this, the filmmaker said that Shweta is obsessed with her children, Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda’s lives. He even advised her to get out of their lives and said:
“She’s obsessed by Navya and Agastya’s personal lives. Get out of their life.”
When Neha further asked Shweta if she was stalking her children, Karan interrupted her and revealed that the latter is the world’s biggest stalker. Elaborating more about it, the filmmaker revealed that Shweta stalks all the star kids on social media and discusses about them. In his words:
“Yes. She is the world’s biggest stalker. She is the Jagga Jasoos on the Internet. And she’ll discuss all of them, not just Navya. Aryan, Suhana, Ananya.”

Karan Johar’s hilarious response left Shweta in splits. However, she clarified her stance and revealed that it was not the case, but Karan intervened in between and asked her not to lie. Taking a dig at Shweta's previous comment on him being uncool, KJo said:
“You think I hang out with them at parties, but at least I am not stalking them online.”
