Nancy Guthrie's kidnapping case has been ongoing for almost three weeks now. Till now, no suspect in this case has been arrested. The search mission is ongoing, and now it has been reported that several major clues can be obtained from the neighbourhood and even with the pacemaker that Nancy had.
Savannah had earlier revealed that Nancy Guthrie had been dealing with a fragile heart, and she was on constant medication, which was concerning to the family as well, given that she was kidnapped back on January 31, 2026. Earlier, reports claimed that a high-tech Bluetooth device was being used to detect Nancy's location. Let's know what's going around.
Reports claimed that authorities are turning to the neighbourhood for potential leads, as they are checking the surveillance cameras. The reason for doing this is mainly because the videos that were captured in the Ring Neighbours app and doorbell camera can actually help the investigators to find new leads, which can lead them to Nancy Guthrie.
If the reports are to be believed, the neighbours of Nancy Guthrie received notification on the Rings App to review the footage from a specific date and time. It has been reported that the neighbours were asked to send all the footage from January 1, 2026, to February 2, 2026, and even a suspicious vehicle was spotted in the area. Well, the investigation has been ongoing, and it can lead authorities to Nancy Guthrie.

However, when she was kidnapped, the device lost connection to the phone, but it is still working. In this case, the authorities are using the signal sniffer to detect the location of the device. The expert also revealed that even if the user dies, the pacemaker still functions and sends electric signals to the heart, even though it's not working. Speaking about the same, the expert, Dr Epstein said:
"But when the device is no longer in proximity of the pacemaker for more than like 24 hours, it's no longer connected. The pacemaker is still doing what the pacemaker is doing and still functioning. It doesn't need that connection to function."
Nancy Guthrie's family was being investigated for the case. It was Tommasso Cioni who was grabbing the attention as he was the last person to drive Nancy to her home. He was also the one to receive the first ransom note. However, it was the Pima County sheriff who revealed that the family was not involved in this case at all, and rather, they have been helping the authorities.
The Guthrie family, including Savannah, Annie, Camron, Tommaso and Michael Feldman, was cleared out as suspects. Well, the Sheriff's department certainly used some methods before ruling the family out. Recently, former CIA member and FBI special agent Tracy Walder told Page Six that the methods that could be used for the same are checking cell phone data, scanning license plate scanners, checking if any of the family members were caught on the camera and also alibiing all of them and their accounts of where they were at that evening.
