Superstars of the South Indian cinema, Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar had embarked on the journey of happily ever after on February 10, 2005, after five long years of courtship. As the gorgeous couple entered the phase of parenthood, Namrata took a step back from her career to look after her family. Mahesh and Namrata had welcomed their first child, a boy, in 2006, whom they have named, Gautam Krishna. With the arrival of a baby girl, Sitara in 2012, the family of three was completed.

Namrata Shirodkar is a doting mommy, who never shies away from sharing chronicles of her motherhood and her kids' shenanigans on her IG handle. Namrata's eight-year-old baby girl, Sitara is very popular on social media. The star kid has her own verified Instagram account, where she often posts pictures of her family.
On April 25, 2021, Namrata Shirodkar took to her IG handle and posted a beautiful painting, painted with watercolours by her daughter, Sitara. Alongside it, the loving mommy wrote, "Sitara excels at almost anything she does !! a genius of sorts I can proudly say !! This is her second online art class and this piece of work is so deep in thought and mind ... well done my little one. So proud of u. Stay home! Stay safe!!"
Namrata often shares pictures and memories with her baby girl, Sitara on her IG handle. On March 18, 2021, Namrata Shirodkar had shared a throwback picture with Sitara from one of their vacations. Namrata was seen fixing Sitara’s life jacket as the mother-daughter duo had enjoyed a boat ride in the picture. On the other hand, cute little Sitara was seen enjoying the cool breeze. Along with the picture, Namrata had written, “Tbt!! On the waters... London diaries... Hydepark.”
On International Girl Child Day, i.e, October 11, 2020, Namrata had shared a beautiful selfie with her baby girl, Sitara. Expressing how proud she is of her baby girl, Namrata had written, “Girls symbolise strength, courage, determination, sacrifice, love and commitment. Give them wings to achieve their dreams!! Empowering them is empowering your future! Let’s create an equal world for our daughters to grow! Be proud of your girl child!! I’m more than proud of mine.”
On February 22, 2021, Namrata Shirodkar shared a video of her daughter, Sitara playing ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ on her guitar. The video was originally posted on her daughter’s official IG handle with a caption, “Practice makes perfect Love playing the guitar.. Getting better at it each day!” Re-sharing the video of her daughter’s talent on her IG stories, Namrata had written, “So so proud of you!” followed by three heart emoticons atop it.

On February 8, 2021, South Indian superstar, Mahesh Babu's daughter, Sitara had shared a small dance video on the song, Dirty Laundry by Blackbear on her IG handle. The young diva had looked gorgeous in her stunning black frock as she had flaunted her cool dance moves in the video. Along with the cutesy clip, Sitara had written a caption in which she had revealed that she's in love with this song. Her caption could be read as "Love dancing to black bear!!"
On July 20, 2020, baby girl, Sitara had turned 8, and her doting parents had shared some heart-warming wishes for her on their respective Instagram handles. Mahesh Babu had taken to his IG handle and had shared a beautiful IGTV video of his daughter, Sitara. In the video, we could see Sitara sing, dance, laugh, play and do every other thing. The video was a compilation of Sitara's unseen memories from her childhood till now. Sharing the video, Mahesh had also penned a short note for her, and it could be read as "So fast so 8 I love you as you will never know Wishing you a very happy birthday Parpi #SituPapaTurns8 @sitaraghattamaneni" followed by heart emoticons.
