There is nothing more perfect than embracing parenthood. The moment a couple sees a positive pregnancy test result, they start turning their love pad into a nest. The expensive showpieces in their living area are swapped with cute toys and baby-proofed furniture. And television actor, Nakuul Mehta and his wife, Jankee Parekh are all set to welcome their little bundle of joy to their world. It was in November when Nakuul and Jankee had made a cutesy pregnancy announcement on their respective Instagram handles. The duo had shared lovely pictures, wherein Jankee was seen flaunting her baby bump in a blue dress, while Nakuul gave a funny expression. Alongside it, Jankee had written, "Our quarantine wasn’t boring at all! We’re going to have a souvenir for life and we CANNOT wait! Our greatest adventure begins!" On the other hand, Nakuul had captioned it as "Best friend < Girl friend < Missus < THIS Circle of life & then some more .. Avec @jank_ee #WeAreExpanding."
Since then, Nakuul has been treating his fans with adorable glimpses of his wife, Jankee's pregnancy journey. On January 29, 2021, Nakuul took to his Instagram handle and shared a candid picture with his darling wife. In the picture, we can see Nakuul and Jankee having a laugh while the latter radiated her pregnancy glow. Atop it, Nakul wrote, "Ek garam chai ki piyaali ho, koi usko pilane wali ho." In a joint interview with the Elle magazine, Nakuul and Jankee had talked about their new journey of welcoming a little wonder in their life. Nakuul had talked about their decision of embracing parenthood amidst the pandemic and had said, "Our decision of starting a family was, in a way actualised by nature, giving us this time to slow down and think about our dreams together as partners. As hard as it is to not look back at 2020 with an incredible amount of sadness, we feel together we have been able to garner maximum value out of what was handed to us, and that feels good." Jankee had agreed on this and had opened up on one of the happiest parts of the journey, which was feeling the first flutter of her baby moving inside her. She had said, "Spending hours by myself staring at my tummy and experiencing the kicks, flutters, movements of the little one inside of me." In the same interview, Nakuul had opened up on his love story and had shared how he had fallen in love at first sight with Jankee in 12th grade. The actor had stated, "Our story is a ‘straight out of a Nicholas Sparks novel meets Amit Trivedi music on Anurag Basu visuals’ kind of story. I met Jankee at a Shiamak Davar Dance Summer Camp right after she graduated from her 10th and I had finished my 12th. It was love at every sight for me, and it kept growing until I managed to make awkward introductions." Nakuul also stated that it had taken him one-year to make Jankee realise the bond they share, "I played the proverbial best friend whilst making every effort to win acquiescence.
