Nakuul Mehta was loved for his role as Ram in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2. However, his decision to leave the show wasn't appreciated by his fans. It was Nakuul's humour and the way he portrayed Ram Kapoor that gained him immense popularity. After this, rumours of Nakuul making a comeback for season three of Bade Acche Lagte Hain started doing rounds on the internet.
On May 12, 2023, Nakuul took to his Instagram handle and shared a picture note. The note read, "What's that thing called when a player comes back to reclaim his retired jersey?" He captioned it with a heart emoji. After this, his friends and family flooded his comments section. Nakuul Mehta's friend, Kunal Jai Singh wrote, "Woohooo Ram is back!" Karanvir Bohra commented, "It's called THE KING IS BACK... Though i didn't retire, but yeah, time to get the jersey back."

Bade Acche Lagte Hain's season was a hit because of Nakuul Mehta and the way he gave a new life to the character of Ram Kapoor, which was earlier played by the actor, Ram Kapoor. However, not many know that Nakuul was the highest-paid celebrity in the show, as he charged Rs. 90,000 per episode. Oh Em Gee, we wonder what his salary in the third season would be.
For the unversed, season three of Bade Acche Lagte Hain will star Nakuul Mehta opposite Disha Parma. It will be their third show together, and their camaraderie was loved when they first featured in the show, Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara.
