Song Kang is undoubtedly the leading heartthrob of every K-drama. Whichever drama the youngster has featured in ended up becoming a massive hit. Song Kang was last seen in the viral K-drama, My Demon, which became an instant hit among global viewers for its captivating storyline and his scorching chemistry with Kim Yoo Jung. Soon after, his agency, Namoo Actors, dropped the news that Song Kang would start his military enlistment in the first half of 2024.
Though the exact date of Song Kang’s military enlistment has not yet been revealed, the Love Alarm actor is expected to embark on the duty either this month or the month after. Song Kang recently appeared in GODIVA Samsung Town in Gangnam, and his PR representatives hinted that this was his last public appearance before his compulsory military service.

South Korea has a rule that entails every able-bodied man from the nation to enrol in military service for around two years before age 30-32. Following the same rule, Song Kang will embark on military enlistment early this year. His drama, My Demon, wrapped up last month, after which it was heard that Song Kang would be preparing for the enlistment. Now, almost a month later, Song Kang made a public appearance at the GODIVA Samsung Town for a Valentine’s Day event.
At the event, Song Kang accepted that this was his last public event before starting the military service. Song Kang was dressed in an all-white suit set with black details to break the monotone. Song Kang was seen to be in a peppy mood as he indulged in a conversation with the press and even joked with them as he posed for their lens.

Song Kang debuted in the world of glitz and glamour with his 2017 drama, The Liar And His Lover. He is popularly known as the ‘son of Netflix’ for having the most number of Netflix originals like Love Alarm, Sweet Home, Navillera, Nevertheless, Forecasting Love and Weather, and My Demon. Apart from these, he has also been a part of dramas and movies like Beautiful Vampire, Touch Your Heart and more.
