A daughter's smile brightens everyone's day and her laugh spreads cheer in the entire home. A daughter becomes her mother's forever friend but she is the pride of her father. And an exactly similar thing happened when cricketer, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his wife, Sakshi Dhoni got blessed with their angel, Ziva Singh Dhoni. Since then, their entire world changed and their social media handles are filled with their littlest star's videos and pictures. Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who hails from Ranchi had made the entire world swoon when he had entered the Indian cricket team. While there are millions of pages dedicated to him, his daughter, Ziva is a bigger superstar than him and her every picture creates a trend. On February 6, 2015, Ziva had entered the life of Dhoni and Sakshi and since then their life has been revolving around her. From taking her to International trips to teaching her the right values, the celebrity couple is doing their best when it comes to nurturing their daughter.
On January 6, 2020, Dhoni shared a cute video of Ziva on his Instagram handle. In the video, we can see Ziva playing the guitar and singing a song from her favourite animated movie, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Dhoni captioned it as "Snow brings the best out of her @ziva_singh_dhoni"
Currently, Dhoni is enjoying his first snowfall with his daughter, Ziva and wife, Sakshi. On January 5, 2020, Ziva's official Instagram (which is managed by her parents, Dhoni and Sakshi) had posted a couple of pictures from her first snowfall experience. In the pictures, we could see Ziva enjoying the view with her pet dog. The pictures were captioned as "First snowfall experience for papa and me."

Dhoni is a doting father and it clearly shows in his millions of media interactions. In an interview with The Print, Dhoni had talked about the changes Ziva brought into his life, and had shared, “It is a very different feeling, and I personally find it very difficult to put it in words. It is more of an emotion, and I feel I have not really missed a lot of things in life, but after a while when I am outside, after a few days, I actually start missing Ziva. Not to the extent that it starts bothering my cricket and all, but it is the first time ever when I feel, maybe I should Facetime to see what she is really doing."
He had further added, "It is not like we interact a lot, she is very independent, she is very young but very independent, she does not really look for many people to be around her. I have played for India for about 12 years, even more, but that sort of ‘missing’ has never happened. I feel that is the fatherly feeling that makes it happen."
Dhoni had also shared whether his daughter, Ziva is naughty or nice and had said, "I think she is naughty (smiles), she is quite naughty. But at the same time, the experience that I have had with her, I think we are blessed to have a daughter like her. The reason being, right from the very start we started travelling with her, she was two months old, she has never troubled us at night. She would sleep at the right time, she would get up at the right time. She has been very good when it comes to eating food on time. These are the things which are very important when your child is very young. You want her to eat well, you want her to sleep well, and she has been very good when it comes to that."
