In 2015, Mahendra Singh Dhoni had written history, when he had refused to be with his wife, Sakshi Dhoni, who was about to deliver their first child as he was on a ‘National Duty’. MS Dhoni had missed his first child’s birth for World Cup 2015 in Australia. It was his best friend, Suresh Raina, who had broken the news of being blessed with a baby girl to Dhoni as he keeps his mobile switched off during important matches.
On February 6, 2015, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sakshi Singh Dhoni were blessed with a baby girl named Ziva Singh Dhoni. Over the years, Ziva has become a social media sensation owing to her cuteness. A few days back, on IG handle, we had found a picture of MS Dhoni with his then-newborn daughter, Ziva. In the picture, he was seen wearing a baby holder, carrying Ziva inside it and protecting her from the crowd, covering her face with his hands. It was indeed a priceless moment.

Now, we got hold of another priceless picture of MS Dhoni with his daughter, Ziva Singh Dhoni. In the picture, Dhoni can be seen wearing his Chennai Superkings’ t-shirt, holding his then-few days old daughter, Ziva in his arms as he posed with his wife, Sakshi Singh Dhoni and a friend. Ziva looked absolutely adorable sleeping peacefully in her daddy’s arms.
In an interview with The Print, Mahendra Singh Dhoni had talked about how his daughter, Ziva had brought changes into his life and had shared:
“It is a very different feeling, and I personally find it very difficult to put it in words. It is more of an emotion, and I feel I have not really missed a lot of things in life, but after a while when I am outside, after a few days, I actually start missing Ziva. Not to the extent that it starts bothering my cricket and all, but it is the first time ever when I feel, maybe I should Facetime to see what she is really doing."

MS Dhoni had also shared that he had earlier never missed someone while playing for India. However, after Ziva’s birth, he had started missing her. He had added:
"It is not like we interact a lot, she is very independent, she is very young but very independent, she does not really look for many people to be around her. I have played for India for about 12 years, even more, but that sort of ‘missing’ has never happened. I feel that is the fatherly feeling that makes it happen."
According to the latest media reports, MS Dhoni and his wife, Sakshi Singh Dhoni are expecting their second baby in 2022. On the night of October 15, 2021, beating Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings had lifted the IPL trophy for the fourth time. MS Dhoni’s wife, Sakshi Singh Dhoni and their daughter, Ziva Dhoni, had joined him on the field post his victory to celebrate the same. A picture of the family had gone viral, where the trio was seen hugging and it was speculated that Sakshi is pregnant. According to various reports, Suresh Raina’s wife, Priyanka Raina, had confirmed that Sakshi was four months pregnant then, and the couple is expecting their second baby in 2022.
