In a conversation with Times Now, when Chennai Super Kings' CEO, Kasi Viswanathan was asked about the chances of seeing MS Dhoni featured in IPL 2025, the businessman gave a diplomatic answer. While on one side, he highlighted his age, on the other side, he didn't rule out the possibility of seeing Dhoni playing IPL 2025 as he left the ball in Dhoni's court. The CEO clearly stated that it is only Dhoni, who knows when he will hang his gloves. He said:
"Dhoni will decide himself. He has not told us anything now, and it will be his call. He has not given any indications to us either."
