During the interview, the duo was asked what they would prefer: to keep their relationship a secret or declare their love to the world. In reply, Siddhant said that he wants to keep his relationship private from his fans. Mrunal added:

"I am in transit right now. Once I reach there, as Sid said, I will find out ways to protect it. Jo cheez hai hi nahin uske baare mein kya batau. How I can talk about if I'm not in a relationship? I'm on the verge of finding love."

In the same interview, Mrunal Thakur addressed the rumours surrounding her marriage to Dhanush, which was scheduled to take place on Valentine’s Day. She quipped that people must remain hopeful. Siddhant too joined and said that "you never know." She cracked the joke and invited people to her alleged wedding. She said, "Let’s be hopeful. Please khana khake jana."

In a recent interview with Galatta India, Mrunal set the record straight about her alleged marriage to Dhanush. She revealed that she has zero clue about who is spreading such rumours. Mrunal added that she was even quoted, while she made no comments on the matter. She was quoted as saying:

"Me? No. I think 14th April is going to be the 1st April…14th Feb is going to be the 1st April. April Fools' Day. Because I don’t know who started…First of all. I’ve been quoted, but I never said anything. And they just said, Mrunal said so. I was like, wow, how beautiful. It’s scary."

They mentioned that both Dhanush and Mrunal are good friends. They added that Dhanush, who was earlier married to Rajinikanth’s daughter, Aishwarya, is only focusing on their children, Yatra and Linga. The source was quoted as saying:

"This is just a rumour. They are both good friends, just like any other actors in the industry. Dhanush has no plans to get married again. It is known that Dhanush parted ways with Aishwarya, and they are co-parenting Yatra and Linga together. Their focus has always been on providing a stable and loving environment for the children."
