A few days ago, the actress made it to the headlines after she requested the paps not to click on her from some problematic angles. In a recent video, which made rounds on the discussion platform, Reddit, the actress mentioned how she had a conversation with the paps to stop clicking on her from the back.
Recently, a video of Mrunal Thakur's interview on iDiva surfaced online, wherein the actress was asked about her take on paps clicking actresses from different angles. To this, the actress mentioned that she doesn't know the need to do the same and upload them on social media and ask the netizens to guess who the actress is. Mrunal added that she had been facing the same issue until she had a chat with the shutterbugs. The actress mentioned that the paps are extremely sweet, and while talking to them about this issue, she showed them a chat from her mother.

In the chat, Mrunal's mom, in Marathi, reacted to the photographers focusing on the wrong body parts, no matter if the actress is covered from head to toe. Mrunal added that she clearly mentioned that she respects the paps and that they should do the same. Mrunal also added that she had told the paps that the videos that surface online and her friends and relatives watch the same don't leave a good impression. The actress shared that the shutterbugs understood the same, and she is happy how people have been raising their voices about the same issue.
As soon as the video surfaced online, netizens rushed to the comment section and dropped their opinions. The netizens hailed the actress for speaking up for herself and pointing out this issue. Some even slammed the shutterbugs and wondered why they even had to get such huge explanations.
