Mrunal Thakur and Dhanush are currently hogging the limelight for their alleged marriage. For those who do not know, a few hours ago, multiple reports claimed that Dhanush and Mrunal will be getting married on February 14, 2026. It is worth mentioning that the duo has been grabbing attention for their alleged romance since the past few months. Well, the actress recently shut down the gossip around her marriage with Dhanush.

Mrunal Thakur and Dhanush are not getting married

Recently, a source close to the actress, Mrunal Thakur had a candid chat with the Hindustan Times, during which they opened up about the wedding rumours. The source clearly shut down all the rumours and shared that Mrunal has a few films lined up for release in February 2026, so why would she get married at such a crucial point. The source was quoted as saying:

"Mrunal is not getting married next month. This is a rumour which has caught wind. She has a release scheduled for February, why would she get married in such close proximity of her film release? And then in March, she has another film's release in Telugu in March."

How did the rumour of Mrunal Thakur and Dhanush’s wedding start?

On January 16, 2026, multiple reports claimed that Dhanush and Mrunal Thakur are set to tie the knot on February 14, 2026. It is worth mentioning that the wedding date was revealed by some anonymous source and neither Dhanush nor Mrunal have spoken anything about it. For those who do not know, Mrunal and Dhanush first sparked dating buzz during the screening of Son of Sardaar 2. Reports had claimed that Dhanush had attended the screening only for Mrunal.

A few months ago, when Dhanush and Mrunal were making headlines for their alleged romance, the Son Of Sardaar 2 actress, Mrunal had taken to her Instagram Story to share a picture of her and her mother. Along with the same, Mrunal had shared that rumours about her are like free PR. It is worth mentioning that Mrunal did not directly address her dating rumours in her Instagram Stroy. Months later, during the promotions of Tere Ishk Mein, Dhanush had called love an ‘overrated emotion’, indirectly putting an end to his romance with Mrunal.
