Popular actress, Mouni Roy has been leading the headlines ever since she announced that she was hospitalised for nine days. The Brahmastra actress dropped an array of pictures on her Instagram handle and left her fans shocked and worried. However, Mouni did not reveal the reason behind her hospitalisation. For the unversed, Mouni Roy tied the knot with a Dubai-based businessman, Suraj Nambiar, in January 2022
On July 22, 2023, Mouni Roy took to her IG handle and shared a series of pictures from her 9-day-long stay at the hospital. In the pictures, we can see the actress lying on a hospital bed with a cannula in her hand. In other glimpses, we can see her spending some time with her close ones at the hospital, while some pictures were from her way back home after she got discharged. We can also spot her husband, Suraj in the pictures, as he took care of his ill wife.

Alongside the pictures, Mouni penned a long note about being hospitalised for nine days and revealed that she is now back home. She also stated that she is recovering slowly but is very well and thanked her loveliest friends who spent their precious time taking care of her and sent her wishes and love. Mouni also gave a special shoutout to her husband, Suraj Nambiar, and penned:
"9 days in a hospital & I’m overwhelmed by a stillness deeper than anything I have ever known. Happy to report I’m back home and recovering slowly but very well. A happy healthy life over err’ything. A big thank you to my loveliest friends who spent their precious time taking care of me, sent me wishes & love. ILY guys x P.s @nambiar13 There’s No one like you.. I’m forever grateful."
As soon as Mouni shared the pictures on her IG handle, her fans were left worried about what went wrong. They flooded the post's comment section and started showering love on their favourite actress. Meanwhile, some of Mouni's industry fans also sent their well wishes and hoped for her speedy recovery. Reacting to the post, one of Mouni's fans asked her if she suffered from anorexia. On January 27, 2023, Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar celebrated their first wedding anniversary by seeking blessings from God. The actress took to her Instagram handle and posted glimpses of their celebration. In the pictures, Mouni looked gorgeous as ever in a white lacy sheer saree and kept her look subtle with sindoor, shakha pola and jhumkis. Alongside it, Mouni penned a heartfelt note and revealed that she is going to remember the seven vows throughout her life. Her note could be read as:
"I’ll always carry on these seven pledges through this beautiful journey of life with you.. happy 1st."
