Mona Singh became a household name with her stint as Jassi in the show, Jassi Jaisse Koi Nahin. Mona had surprised everyone when she tied the knot with her investment banker boyfriend, Shyam Rajagopalan. The duo had tied the knot on December 27, 2019, in an intimate ceremony. And since then, Mona and Shyam have been enjoying every moment of their marital journey.
On November 5, 2020, Mona Singh had celebrated her first Karwa Chauth post-wedding with her husband, Shyam Gopalan. She had taken to her IG handle and had shared stunning pictures from the celebrations. In the pictures, Mona had looked beautiful in a cream-coloured embroidered saree with red border. She had accentuated her look with mehendi, golden jhumkas, red bindi and sindoor. Along with the pictures, she had written, “Love is ...the Ultimate gift #1stkarwachauth.”

On July 6, 2021, Mona Singh took to her IG handle and shared a video, comprising some adorable memories from one of her vacations with Shyam Gopalan. In the video, Mona was seen having a gala time with Shyam while posing with him amid the serene nature. She captioned the video as “Happytimes.”
A few months back, Mona had visited the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show, where Kapil had talked about her marriage. When Mona was questioned about dating Shyam for five years, she had narrated the story of her bad proposal. Talking about her proposal, she had revealed how Shyam told her that he wanted to buy a kurta and picked her up for shopping. While they were on the way to the shop, Shyam had stopped his car in the middle of the road and took out the ring to propose her for marriage.

Before Mona could respond or react, he had slipped the ring into her finger because of nervousness and later, joked about how people hurled abuses on them. Calling it a super bad proposal, Mona had also shared that Shyam had forgotten to play the songs in the car and did it later.
Mona Singh is enjoying every moment of her marital life with Shyam Gopalan. Mona, who had tied the knot at the age of 39, is often probed about starting a family. In an interview with The Times Of India, the gorgeous actress had revealed that she and her hubby are in no hurry to have a child even though the clock is ticking as she had frozen her eggs at the age of 34.
Just like her relationship, Mona had kept her marriage away from the limelight and it was an intimate wedding. However, on December 28, 2019, Mona had shared the first picture from her wedding. The picture was from their varmala ceremony and Mona had looked adorable with a big smile on her face. She had captioned the picture as “Love laughter and a happily ever after.”
