For the wedding, Mona had looked resplendent in a red lehenga, and her then-to-be-husband, Shyam had complemented her in an off-white-coloured sherwani. Posting the first-ever picture with her husband from their wedding, Mona had written, “Love laughter and a happily ever after.”
Ever since she got married, Mona Singh has been treating her fans with a sneak peek into her personal life, be it the throwback pictures from her bachelorette trip or a ‘happy new year’ selfie with her husband, Shyam Rajagopalan. But it is her latest post that has all our attention. Sharing pictures from her BFF’s birthday bash, Mona wrote, “My tribe .. bling bday n newyear spent well #niku #bday #2020 #bling #happyfaces.” We can’t help but notice how stunningly Mona flaunted her bridal chooda with her blingy little black dress. Mona Singh had opted for a traditional red lehenga by Kalki Fashion and the makers had described her outfit in detail on their Instagram handle. On December 29, 2019, Mona Singh’s best friend, Gaurav Gera had taken to his Instagram handle to share an amazing video of Mona and Shyam from their sangeet as they danced to some of the hit tracks of Bollywood. Putting her best foot forward, Mona had looked gorgeous in her fuchsia coloured suit and was giggling throughout the dance. And her then-to-be groom, Shyam had complemented her in a blue-coloured kurta with black bottoms and a black waistcoat. Along with the video, Gaurav had written, “Mona ka Sangeet #monakishadi.”
In a 2016 interview with The Times of India, Mona Singh had revealed that she would like to have her swayamvar and also talked about her wedding plans. She had stated, “I would love to have a swayamvar. Let’s have a contest and look for a groom for me. (laughs out loud). But on a serious note, of course, I always wanted to get married but I am not dying to get married! My parents are happy to see me work and be independent. Marriage is not the only thing left to do in life.
