Some relationships in the glamour world are out in the open yet hidden. The celebrities prefer to hide their relationship or simply avoid the questions regarding the same. While we have seen Naagin fame, Mouni Roy and Devon Ke Dev Mahadev fame, Mohit Raina party together and celebrate each other’s birthdays together, the actress had always denied the reports of dating the actor.
It was in 2018 when the reports of Mouni Roy and Mohit Raina’s breakup had hit the headlines; however, the two had maintained their silence. Mohit and Mouni are very private people and have always kept their personal life away from the limelight even if things are out in public. Earlier, in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Mouni had dismissed their dating rumours and had stated that she is not even friends with Mohit. Now, Mohit has talked about his breakup with Mouni.

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Mohit Raina was asked about the media coverage around his breakup with Mouni Roy and if it ever bothered him. He replied, “No, I don’t think so. But, I’ll tell you why.” Talking about how time changes, Mohit added, “Because, I’ve always been a personal person, so I always think there will be situations, times when things will not be in your favour, everything cannot just be about you.”
Mohit further added that everything has to co-exist, and said, “It’s like, at times, you’ll win the argument, or at times you’ll loose the argument, at times you’ll agree, at times you’ll disagree. But, I think, that’s a part of the journey. Everything has to co-exist, as I said.” Stating that there is no baggage, he concluded, “I think it’s healthy, I don’t mind it. You get the love, fame, everything, so if there’s a little bit of discomfort coming with it, I think it’s fair enough. There’s no baggage about it. Nothing very harsh to feel harsh about. That’s it.”

In a conversation with Bollywoodlife, when Mohit was asked about their relationship, he had retorted, “This is rubbish! Let her focus on her work. We are good, she has worked hard for years, day and night, to be here. People are trying best to pull her down and malign her name. People can’t handle somebody’s growth and happiness. It’s not overnight. The real hard work is behind the scenes. We all are proud of her achievements, it’s just the beginning for her.”
When the Indian Express had asked him as to how he would stamp his relationship with Mouni, he had replied, “We genuinely have a very strong friendship and utmost respect for each other. We are similar people with similar stories. Mouni and I, both are from non-filmy families and come from really small towns.”
