Namashi Chakraborty is the son of popular actor, Mithun Chakraborty and his actress wife, Yogeeta Bali. The star son made his acting debut with the film, Bad Boy, earlier this year. For the unversed, the film also marked the debut of film producer, Sajid Qureshi's daughter, Amree. Talking about Mithun Chakraborty, the veteran actor tied the knot with Yogeeta Bali in 1979. Later, the duo hopped onto their parenthood journey after they welcomed their kids, Mahaakshay, Ushmey, Namashi. Mithun and Yogeeta have even adopted a daughter, Dishani.
In an interview with Aaj Tak, Namashi Chakraborty opened up about his equation with her mother, Yogeeta Bali. Talking about the same, the actor mentioned that people usually associate him with his father, Mithun Chakraborty but no one ever talks about his mother, Yogeeta. Mentioning how he shares a beautiful bond with his mother, Namashi stated that she keeps the family united. In his words:
"Mostly, people associate me with my father alone, no one has ever mentioned my mom. Even she was a wonderful actor in her era. People get focussed on papa. I share a special relationship with my mom. She keeps the family together."

Further, in the same conversation, Namashi revealed how much of his mother's work he has followed in his life. Elaborating more about it, the actor stated that his mother gets embarrassed whenever he watches her films. He even revealed his favourite films of Yogeeta Bali and mentioned that he can't watch his mother onscreen with anyone else other than his father, Mithun Chakraborty. Adding that he feels weird when he watches his mother's films, Namashi said:
"I have seen some of her film but she gets embarrassed and tells me 'do not watch my films'. Between the 70s and the 80s, she did more than 100 films. Among her films, I like Ajnabee and Beshaq. I can only watch her onscreen with papa. I feel bad when she is with some other hero. I have seen papa acting my entire life but it feels weird when I watch Ma onscreen."
Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Mithun Chakraborty's son, Mahaakshay Chakraborty opened up about his mother and yesteryear actress, Yogeeta Bali. Talking about her, the actor mentioned that Yogeeta is a complete family woman and she loves spending time at home. Mahaakshay also talked about Yogeeta's decision to quit acting and revealed that she wanted to build a family, so she gave up on her career. Expressing his desire to work with his mother someday, Mahaakshay said:
"My mom is a complete home bird. She just loves us, and she really loves being at home. There are times when we all have to request her to get her out for lunch. And of course, mom decided that she wanted to be a mother and a family woman. She gave up all the limelight when she got married. She's pretty chill about it. But I believe somewhere in my heart that I really want to share screen space with her someday."

Yogeeta Bali is one of the most talented and beautiful actresses of her generation. She was active in the late 1970s and 1980s. The gorgeousness made her acting debut with the film, Parwana in 1971. Later, she went on to work in blockbuster films like Nagin, Khwab, Jheel Ke Us Paar, Be-Shaque, Aakhri Badla and many more.
