Audrey Eckert won the Miss USA title in 2025. However, just before saying goodbye to her reign, Audrey took her last walk, but it turned out to be the most embarrassing moment of her life. The 24-year-old former Miss USA tripped over her gown and fell to the ground while being recorded.

Audrey Eckert shared two videos of her falling on the ground right in front of the camera

Audrey Eckert took to her Instagram handle and shared two videos within a week, both from the recent event. She stepped out to walk on stage before she gave her title to this year's queen. In the first video, Audrey was backstage when she tripped over her gown and fell on the ground.

She was greeting someone by letting her hand out, but she had a terrible fall and almost lost her crown, which was pinned to her head. However, she quickly stepped up. Sharing the video, Audrey wrote, "So who wants to know the real reason I kept tripping?" In another video, Audrey was on stage when she again tripped.

However, this time, she regained her balance and even held her crown, which was about to fall on the ground. She quickly shrugged as she got up to crown the new 35-year-old Miss Universe, Justus Kelley of Virginia. Atop it, she wrote, "One imperfect moment does not get to rewrite an entire year of accomplishment."

Audrey then shared that she thought about not posting the video because she would be shamed for falling. However, she still decided to post it as she wanted to let people know that it is okay to fall. Audrey then highlighted all the celebrities who had a public fall yet they got up and smiled. She wrote:

"This moment made me think about some of the biggest, most accomplished people in the world. Jennifer Lawrence falling on the stairs on her way to accept an Oscar.
Simone Biles when she walked away from the biggest stage in the world when she knew she couldn’t safely perform.  Michael Jordan missing the game winning shot when the entire world is watching. And yet, we don’t remember Jennifer Lawrence for falling. We don’t remember Simone Biles for the moments she didn’t land perfectly."

Audrey further highlighted that the athletes are not remembered for their one missed shots; they are known for their accomplishments, and how they got back up. And the years of works that got them up. She stated that she had a fall during one of the final walks as Miss USA. But she belived that it was okay to fall in front of everyone and embrace the most imperfect moment.

She stated that she has allowed herself to be proud of everything she accompalished as the fall doesn't define her. And it doesn't mean her moment was ruined, it just a part of the night. She wrote:

"We remember the years of work that brought them to that moment. So yes, I fell… twice. And yes, it happened during one of the most important and emotional moments of my life, my final walk as Miss USA. And if this moment means anything, I hope it’s this. You are allowed to fall in front of everyone. You are allowed to have an imperfect moment in a moment that was supposed to be perfect. And you are still allowed to be proud of everything you accomplished. And maybe falling doesn’t mean the moment is ruined. Maybe sometimes, it becomes part of the story."

Audrey inspired millions with her honest way of talking about the most embarassing moment of her life.
