The charming Shahid Kapoor and his gorgeous wife, Mira Rajput never fail to mesmerize us with their chemistry. The OG couple of the glamour world has reinstated our faith in arranged marriages. When Shahid got married to Delhi-based Mira, nobody thought that the then 21-year-old would become everyone's favourite. Shahid and Mira are currently vacationing in the Maldives with their little munchkins, Misha and Zain. On October 19, 2021, Mira took to her IG handle and posted a picture of the 'love of her life', Shahid from their romantic date night in the Maldives. In the picture, Shahid looked handsome as always in a white shirt. Along with the picture, Mira dedicated verses of Rumi for him and wrote, "Each night the Moon kisses secretly the Lover who counts the stars #Rumi #fullmoon with the love of my life."
A few days ago, Shahid had requested the filmmakers to cast him in a film where he gets to be a ‘typecast hero’. Revealing the reason behind it, Shahid had written on his IG story, "My wife has fired me about how I am not doing a film which is fun and where I dance. Open invitation pl gimme something that allows me to please her... #typecast hero in need!! @mira.kapoor I am committed to the cause."

When Shahid and Mira had appeared on Koffee With Karan, they had spilt the beans on their relationship and married life. During the rapid-fire round, Karan had asked Mira to choose one of the four deal-breakers in marriage from the options - cheating, interfering in-laws, bad sex, and boredom. Mira had answered, “I don’t have interfering in-laws, we are not bored, we don’t have bad sex, so, cheating,” leaving Karan impressed.
It was on July 7, 2021, when Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor completed six years of married life, and to mark their wedding anniversary, the star wife had posted a mushy picture with the love of her life. Expressing how words cannot suffice the love she has for him, Mira had captioned her mushy picture with Shahid as "I love you more than words suffice. Happy 6, my love my life."
