It was in July 2015 when Shahid Kapoor had brought ‘a girl from another world’ into his world of fame and stardom and how amazingly she had fit into his world over these five years! A year after marriage, Shahid and Mira had embraced parenthood with the arrival of their little princess, Misha Kapoor. Since then, their lives have been revolving around the little one.
A while back, Mira Rajput Kapoor posted a meme on her IG story and it is so relatable for every girl out there. Mira posted a meme that can be read as “One day, I’ll have a sassy, know-it-all daughter and my husband will say “she got that from you” and I can’t wait” and tagged her husband, Shahid Kapoor on it. Mira is one ‘cool mom’, and we had gotten a glimpse of it last year when Mira had posted two IG stories wherein she had shared pictures of Misha flaunting her new ‘temporary’ hair colour. Mira had written, “Got a hair colour at Alim Uncle’s”, “I’m not a regular mom, I’m a cool mom” atop one photo and “Relax guys, it’s just temporary. Wait till I’m 5.” on another one! Isn’t she amazing?
Well, we couldn’t agree more with Mira Rajput Kapoor as her little one, Misha Kapoor does remind us of her cool, sassy mamma! Not only does Misha looks like Mira, but the doting mommy has incredibly passed on values and teachings of life to her little daughter. Mira had embraced motherhood at an early age of 22 and one glance at her little princess, and we could easily decipher that she is the mini-me of her mother. Scrolling through social media sometime back, we had come across a childhood picture of Mira in a collage with a photo of Misha, and we couldn’t help but gape in wonderment how similar they look. With similar features and uncanny resemblance, all we could say is ‘like mother, like daughter’! Due to the lockdown, Mira Rajput Kapoor is making sure that her daughter, Misha Kapoor unleashes the artist in herself and explore different things during the lockdown. And in this unplanned break from school, Mira is not only homeschooling Misha but making sure that her little one focusses on some extra-curricular activities too. A few days back, Misha had tried her hands at knitting and we must say, we were quite IMPRESSED! The proud mommy, Mira had posted an Insta story of Misha’s work and had written, “Big love with my little love. With a hand drawn pattern and help on the turns, little hands made the heart with a lot of excitement and filled with a lot of love!” atop it.
On April 29, 2020, Mira Rajput Kapoor had taken to her Instagram handle to post a picture of a note written by her for all the parents out there. In her long note, the doting mother had talked about the tragic situation of the lockdown and how its effecting kids, as they cannot go out to play, attend school or meet their friends. To deal with the frustration that is creeping in the minds of their little ones, Mira had revealed some of the tricks and tips she has been using with her little bundle of joys, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor. Along with the informative and emotional note, Mira had penned a few lines in the caption too that can be read as “Love them. Hug them. Ask them how they feel and let them cry if they’re not okay. Kiss them. Paint with them and let their clothes and the walls get dirty. Watch their favourite cartoon with them. Snuggle up with them. Give them extra ketchup if they ask for it that day. And when you’re tired after doing the dishes and cooking dinner and they say “Mumma can you play with me” remember this time isn’t forever. Little hands. Big hearts. Love them.”
When Misha Kapoor had turned 3 on August 26, 2019, Mira Rajput Kapoor had posted a wish for her ‘sweetheart’ with an angelic picture from her infant days. She had captioned it, “I love you my sweetheart. Happiest birthday to my angel. I pray for your happiness my darling, God bless you always! Thank you for being the light of our lives!” In these more than three years, little Misha has been stealing the limelight from her star family, like how! Baby Misha is the universe of the entire Kapoor-Rajput family and they leave no stone unturned to pamper and love her to the core.
