Bollywood's favourite couple, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor are enjoying being on cloud nine these days. The couple who walked down the aisle on July 7, 2015, is already parents to one-year-old baby girl, Misha Kapoor. The reason behind Shahid and Mira's happiness is that they are soon to become parents once again. In an exclusive chat with Times Now, the mommy-to-be, Mira Rajput shared some exclusive details about naming her and Shahid's second baby. Mira said, “We haven't decided the name of the baby yet. In fact, we are open to all suggestions. Misha’s name was Shahid's selection. The doting mom, Mira further went on to say, “This time I already have a toddler around and keeping a balance between the one you have and the one that's on its way is very important. Everything changes and you don't want that the one who has been the apple of your eyes for so long and feels that she's the centre of your world to feel neglected and ignored. That is very important.”
A source close to the couple had earlier told India.com that the parents have two names in mind, one for a baby boy and the other one for a baby girl. The source stated, “Shahid and Mira are very excited. Even though this is not the first time they are becoming parents, they have been feeling on top of the world. Having two kids was always their plan and they feel blessed that it is happening just how they wished it to be. The two have decided on a name as well – one for a male child and one for a female child. Shahid and Mira are one amongst those couples who have been very frank about their personal life. The two were already ready to embrace second baby right after Misha's birth. In fact, Shahid once revealed this in a media interaction and said, “Mira, who is just 22, would prefer to have a second kid soon as well. She wants to flip the norm, get the kids to a certain age and then be free to do what she likes.”
Talking about how supportive Shahid is, Mira in an interview lately shared, “Shahid is an extremely loving and supportive husband. It comes naturally to him. The smallest things he does make me smile and feel so loved, like when I wake him up in the middle of the night with a foot cramp and he soothes it”.
She further added, “Or how hands-on he is with Misha and has really made sure she doesn’t feel the lack of my attention and presence, especially in these last few weeks where I can’t pick her up or play very much with her. It’s everything put together. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner to walk beside me through this journey”.
When she was asked what’s the most beautiful part of being pregnant, Mira replied, “There is no one thing as such; the entire process is just so special. Being able to bring a life into this world, feel it grow inside, and being able to connect with the baby before it has actually even arrived is surreal. And this time it’s been so interesting to see how Misha has been through the entire process. She knows there is a baby inside and she says, “Hi Baby!” every day to my tummy””.
