Haathon Mein Puja Ki Thaali, Aayi Raat Suhagon Wali… Finally, the much-awaited festival for every married lady is here. November 4, 2020, marks the day of Karwa Chauth, and like every year, this year too, B-town divas are making heads turn with their beautiful traditional looks for the celebration. It is that time of the year when women stay hungry for the long life of their partner and wait with bated breath to see the moon to break their fast. Just like in 2019, how Shahid Kapoor’s wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor had swooned us in a shaded pink and red bandhini saree, for this year’s celebration too, the mother-of-two picked the perfect traditional outfit. Last year, Mira had paired her bandhini saree with an intense gold-detailed matching blouse and her look was accentuated with traditional gold earrings and a matching necklace. Mira’s had let her hair loose and complemented her outfit with pink lipstick, winged liner and a bindi. Instead of opting for traditional footwear to go with her ethnic ensemble, Mira had chosen clear PVC heels.
Our favourite festive season is going on and November 4 is Karwa Chauth, which means our social media feeds will be flooded throughout the day with beautiful pictures from the B-town celebrations. To mark Karwa Chauth 2020, Mira Rajput Kapoor posted a wish for hubby, Shahid Kapoor on her IG stories, in which she talked about her threesome with food. Mira wrote, “Baby I love you but I love food too. To our forever threesome. Happy KC @shahidkapoor Will try again next year and I wish you good health and happiness always muah.”
It was five years ago when Mira Rajput had added Kapoor to her name when she had tied the knot with the heartthrob of B-town, Shahid Kapoor and since then, the way this much-in-love couple has been painting the town red with their love is aww-dorable! Remember how 5 years ago, Mira had celebrated her first Karwa Chauth? According to media reports, Mira had excitedly prepared for her first Karwa Chauth for almost a week and Shahid had also taken a day off to spend time with her. Later at night, Shahid had uploaded a loved-up selfie with Mrs Kapoor on his IG handle, with the caption, "Dinner time with Mrs. Kapoor." Now, isn’t that sweet? Reminding Shahid of 'three golden words', Mira's fun and loving anniversary caption could be read as "5 years, 4 souls, 3 homes, 2 babies and 1 beautiful family. There’s nobody I’d rather be on this journey called life than you my love. I fall in love with you more every day. And I’m the luckiest girl in the world to have the love of my life be my best friend. Thank you for everything, for being my strength and for walking through everything together, hand in hand. I love you. You make me laugh like no one else. And more often than not I’m laughing at you. Please don’t forget. Wife is always right. And the three golden words will always be “I am sorry” To many more years of us."
Shahid Kapoor too, had wished his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor on their fifth wedding anniversary with an all-smiling selfie of them.
