The world is caught up in a pink mania with Greta Gerwig's movie, Barbie. As per the reports, till now, the movie has made $356 million at the box office worldwide, with $162 million coming from the United States and $194 million coming from other countries. However, talking about the responses, Barbie has been getting mixed reactions from the audience. Recently, Shahid Kapoor's wifey, Mira Rajput Kapoor watched the movie and dropped a review about the same on her IG story and compared the dance and songs of the movie with Bollywood. Now, her review was shared on a Reddit thread, making her the subject of massive trolling.
On July 24, 2023, Mira Rajput Kapoor took to her IG stories and dropped a picture featuring a dance scene from the movie, Barbie. In the photo, we can see the lead actors, Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling of the same movie, performing in a dance scene. Sharing the photo, Mira wrote:
"Hollywood this, Hollywood that...Well, Hollywood can't do song-and-dance like Bollywood can".

Now, the screenshot of Mira's story was shared on a Reddit thread, wherein people started bombarding the comment section with mixed reactions. While some users agreed with Mira, others started trolling the actress for the same. Reacting to Mira's opinion on Barbie, one user wrote, "I mean I don't think anyone's even comparing bw dances to the hw ones? It's like getting outraged for no reason.." Another user took to the comment section and wrote, "Her husband's numbers are usually good. Not all Bollywood." Another comment can be read as "Big words coming from someone who makes Kardashians look hardworking and talented...Babe your personality is wrapped around your man please stop talking." Back in 2018, Mira Rajput Kapoor collaborated with the brand, Olay on a commercial. However, the gorgeousness received a massive backlash about the same. Moreover, in an interview with Times Now, Mira opened up about facing trolling and shared:
"The internet is one platform that is accessible to everyone. People can say what they feel and it gives everyone the right to express themselves the way they want and to what extent they feel like. So, there will be opinions. It's not that everyone is going to love you. I have always spoken for myself and I have never shied away from expressing what I truly feel.”
