In a throwback interview, the doting father had talked about embracing fatherhood, and had shared, “Now, I don’t feel like leaving home, and that’s a new feeling for me. I can spend the whole day at home with Misha and Mira, and that in itself is a day well spent. This thought never resonated with my personality before. So that’s a big change for me.”
Well, this new feeling of security is called fatherly love and sadly not many writers or poets have written much about it! However, Shahid’s wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor’s entire world revolves around her kids and she never shies away from posting snippets of their life on Instagram. On March 29, 2019, Mira posted a picture of her daughter with a friend’s kid. In the picture, we can see Misha playing drums and tinkering her rock star skills. Check out the picture below:
In an interview, Shahid had opened up on his equation with kids and had said, “Whenever we meet someone who also has a three or four-month-old baby, I go ahead and say, ‘Misha bhaiya ko hello bolo (laughs) [Misha, say hello to your elder brother]’. So I’m quite crappy like that. On the other hand, Mira, who took the big step of marrying a super-star and stepping into his world, understands Shahid’s concern and love. In an interview, she had revealed, “Shahid is an extremely loving and supportive husband. It comes naturally to him. The smallest things he does make me smile and feel so loved, like when I wake him up in the middle of the night with a foot cramp and he soothes it.”
Shahid is head-over-heels in love with Mira had talked about the first time he met her. He had shared the details of the same with Filmfare editor, Jitesh Pillai on his show, Famously Filmfare, and had said, “It was a lovely evening and light was falling on her face. She just turned towards me and smiled and said something. I was like she is so young but I like her, I thought if something is wrong with me.”
The actor once revealed that before marriage, he had met Mira 3-4 times before they finally agreed to get married. He had said, “Mira and I never dated. We just met three to four times and decided to get married. I was about to start shooting for Udta Punjab when I met first met Mira. He had further added, “It was adventurous of Mira to agree to marry a guy who looked like Tommy. I also remember telling her — 'I am going to colour my hair.' You should have seen her face. She is this 20-something girl coming out of LSR College and she was like 'What?'
