If we had to name one couple, who do not go overboard with their PDA for each other and do it just in the right amount, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor definitely top the list. Remember the first time we got a glimpse of Shahid’s non-industry wife, Mira, on Koffee With Karan? Shahid and Mira, being a mushy couple, didn’t shy away from expressing their love for one another and what we loved the most about them is how completely in love they look with each other. Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor leave no opportunity to express how much they are in love and in awe of each other. Remember how a few days ago, Mira had attended an exhibition and a sculpture had reminded her of her hubby, Shahid? Mira had tagged Shahid in an Insta story, which had a romantic sculpture. Reposting the tagged picture, Shahid had written, “You are my (heart emoji)” atop it. Aren’t these two, goals?
Holi 2020 too, was no different. While Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor make sure to celebrate the special occasions and festivals with each other, looks like Mrs Kapoor celebrated Holi 2020 with her girl gang sans Mr Kapoor. But Mira didn’t leave a chance to flaunt her love for Shahid and gave him a perfect gift. Donned in a multi-coloured top and a yellow skirt, Mira flaunted a SK tattoo painted with red on her neck. Mira flashed her million-dollar smile, looking sideways donning glares and captioned her post as "Love life in technicolour."
Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor, time and again, treat their fans with a little bit of their PDA! Mira had captioned her ‘I am on top of the world’ post as “Such a feelin's comin' over me, There is wonder in 'most everything I see, Not a cloud in the sky, got the sun in my eyes, And I won't be surprised if it's a dream, I’m on the top of the world.” Just like we were in awe of Mira’s beautiful picture, her hubby, Shahid Kapoor too couldn’t stop admiring his gorgeous wife. For the Vogue Wedding Book 2019, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor had let their fans into their world and had taken us on their journey of how they first met. Stepping into the role of star wife, Mira never considered herself as a ‘fangirl’, “I’ve never been into movies, which I think was a good thing because following that first chat, when we actually got to know each other, it was for who we are…not for who others think we are. He was just off Kaminey and very scruffy!”
Speaking about their initial days parading a new partnership, Shahid Kapoor had informed, “We’ve gone to parties where I’ve known many more people than she has. But I’ve always found her having more intense conversations with people she’s met less than half an hour ago!” Early on into their relationship, Shahid had thought it would be a good idea for her to watch Udta Punjab (2016). Shahid had narrated, “We sat together on a sofa and somewhere around the interval she had moved five feet away to the other edge. She looked at me and said, ‘You’re not this guy, right? Is this guy anywhere inside you? Tell me now while I can still walk away!’”
Sharing that Shahid Kapoor had promised her to renew their wedding vows, Mira Rajput Kapoor had remarked, “He’s promised me we’re going to do it again!” Recalling his favourite moment from the wedding, Shahid had said, “The Anand Karaj ceremony was my favourite moment from the wedding. It was just a room full of our people, celebrating us, perfect strangers who were going to take this insane journey together. Even though it’s just been four years, a large part of who I am has been formed since the day we got married. We were relieved! The formalities were over, and we could now start sharing our lives.” (Also Read: Dipika Kakar Dances With Husband, Shoaib Ibrahim On 'Balam Pichkari' As They Celebrate Holi)
