Suchana Seth is the founder and CEO of Mindful AI Lab and is also considered one of the sharpest and most innovative minds in the AI industry. It was in 2021 when she was named in the list of 100 brilliant in AI ethics. However, as per the latest reports, on January 8, 2024, Suchana was arrested by the Karnataka police from Chitradurga with a bag in which her son's dead body was stuffed.
According to the early investigation by the Karnataka police, Suchana checked into a luxury apartment in North Goa's Sinquerim area with her four-year-old son on January 6, 2024. The incident came to light when one of the housekeeping staff went into the apartment for cleaning and noticed some blood stains.

One of the investigators revealed that the hotel staff immediately contacted the Goa police and told them that Suchana Seth checked in with her son but left with a suitcase. The investigator also added that Suchana asked the hotel's receptionist to book a cab for her to Bengaluru. Although the receptionist advised her to take a flight but Suchana insisted on taking a cab.
After getting all these details about Suchana Seth's check-in and check-out from the Goa apartment without her son and a bag, the police immediately contacted the cab driver and told him to take his cab to a nearby police station in Karnataka. When police were on call with the cab driver, Suchana told the officers that she had left her son with a friend in Goa. However, when the CCTV footage was checked, it was clear that Suchana was lying.

As per the early interrogation, Suchana Seth's 'estranged relationship' with her husband is one of the primary reasons behind the murder of her son's murder. Well, the investigation is going on, and as of now, the police are examining all angles, which is why they aren't confirming any speculations. Talking about Suchana Seth's professional life, as per her LinkedIn profile, she has 12 years of experience in data science and was a fellow at the Berkman Klein Centre at Harvard University in Boston. The founder and CEO of Mindful AI Lab is currently under the custody of Karnataka police for investigation in the murder case.
