He's usually home earlier, and we grab dinner. When he coached in college, he really didn't have a night like that, so we cherish that night."

Friday nights were really significant for Jen and Mike, and it became their primary time to reconnect, especially because he often worked as late as 11:00 PM during the NFL season. So on their date nights, he wrapped up his work early and headed home as soon as possible to be with his wife.
