Earlier, this month, in April 2026, Page Six first published some cosy pictures of Dianna and Mike. In the now-viral photos, the two were seen holding hands, hugging, lounging and sharing a hot tub. Following this, Dianna resigned from her post at The Athletic, while Mike has sought counselling. A new video of Mike is now going viral from his counselling trip.

A while ago, TMZ shared a video of New England Patriots head coach, Mike Vrabel. In the now-viral video, a photographer caught up with Mike at the Salt Lake City International Airport in Utah. The photographer asked Mike Vrabel about the alleged affair with Dianna. He also asked him about his family's reaction to it. In fact, the photographer highlighted that the photo scandal seemed like a big distraction for him. However, Mike maintained a dignified silence and dodged every question related to Dianna and their alleged affair. Although Mike didn’t have anything to add, his body language said a lot, and he looked a bit anxious.

On April 21, 2026, the head coach of the New England Patriots, Mike, broke his silence on the ongoing drama around his and Dianna Russini’s alleged affair. During a Patriots press conference, Mike addressed the matter and thanked the media personnel for their patience, as he remained tight-lipped on the ongoing scandal. Mike shared that he had some difficult conversations with his family, the organisation, coaches and the players. He was quoted as saying:

"Thank you for your patience that you’ve shown in a personal and private matter for me and obviously everybody involved. I know that that's not easy for you and I respect that and I appreciate that. I've had some difficult conversations with people I care about — with my family, the organisation, the coaches, the players."

Mike highlighted that he delayed in addressing the matter publicly as he wanted to have a heart-to-heart, honest conversation with the players, which he had on April 20, 2026. He mentioned that to be successful on and off the field, a coach must make good decisions. Mike added that he never wanted his actions to negatively affect his team and be a cause of distraction. He was quoted as saying:

"I understand I could’ve addressed you guys sooner, but it was important to me to have a conversation with the players, which I did yesterday, very candidly. In order to be successful on and off the field, you have to make good decisions. That includes me. That starts with me. We never want our actions to negatively affect the team, never want to be the cause of distraction."

Mike Vrabel has been married to Jen Vrabel since 1999. In 2024, the couple celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. Both Mike and Jen attended Ohio State University, but didn't earn their diplomas at the same time. Like her husband, Jen was a college athlete. While Mike was busy playing football, Jen was on the school's volleyball team from 1993 to 1996. It was Jen who made the first move after noticing Mike in the freshman lecture class on time management. Although not much information is available about their dating life, they reportedly tied the knot in 1999. Jen and Mike share two sons.
