The Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini scandal just does not seem to end. The New England Patriots head coach, Mike, has made headlines after he was spotted on a reported romantic vacation with Dianna in Sedona, Arizona. Well, neither Mike nor Dianna has given any official confirmation related to the alleged affair, but a Boston writer has made new claims on the same.

A Boston writer claims that the NFL media was aware of Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini's alleged relationship

According to a report by Yahoo.com, a Boston Globe writer made an explosive and shocking claim related to  Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini's alleged relationship. The writer claimed that the masses may have got a clue related to the alleged affair, as it was already known to some of the individuals from the NFL media group. Ben Violin of the Boston group revealed on the Boston Globe Podcast:

"I think those of us who have worked in NFL media have known that the two have had a relationship for a long time and I think certainly these photos are coming out, How much more is going to come out now? You talked about the response, I think where they made a real error was being so defiant up front.”

The steamy pictures of Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel are all out on social media. Page Six had first released the snaps where Dianna and Mike were seen having an intense romance in a New York City bar back in 2020. Mike was seen wearing his wedding ring, keeping his hands on the thighs of Dianna and reportedly kissing her.

 Mike Vrabel, in an interview with ESPN, revealed that he has promised his family, this organisation, and this team that he would give his best version of himself. To do the same, he has committed to seeking counselling over the weekend. Mike Vrabel revealed:

"I have always wanted to lead by example, and I believe this is what I have to do to be the best husband, father and coach that I possibly can be. This is not an easy thing for me to admit, but it is one that I know will make me a better person. I appreciate the support that everyone has given me and promise a stronger resolve as a result."

Mike Vrabel married Jen back in 1999 and the couple is blessed with two sons. The New England Patriots released a statement saying they were fully supportive of Mike's decision and that he has been open about his commitment to being the best version of himself for his family, this team, and the fans. The team respects Mike's decision to honour the commitment. The Patriots said:

"We are confident in the leadership and communication Mike has established with our personnel staff throughout this pre-draft process. While he will not be present at the facility on Saturday, we know the draft evaluations are complete and Eliot Wolf and his personnel staff are prepared to execute our draft as planned this weekend."

Mike Vrabel, in a statement earlier at the press conference held at Gillette Stadium on January 13, 2025, indirectly spoke about the whiplash he is receiving. He indirectly stated that the Dianna controversy is a private and personal matter. He was also questioned about his conduct being laughable, to which he said that his earlier actions don't meet the standard he holds himself to. He revealed that he does not think about the comments. He feels it was an attempt to protect his family, and he will never be dismissive.
