Recently, she shared the devastating news of losing two children to sudden ailments within two years. Melissa's revelations have moved her fans, who have sent love and strength to the influencer and her husband, Tom Carlton, as they navigate a tough time. As Melissa Mae Carlton opened up about her loss, she also shared that her late daughter, Molly's, last wish before death was fulfilled.
Melissa Mae Carlton, confirmed on December 26, 2025, that her youngest daughter, Molly, passed away suddenly on Christmas (December 25, 2025). This tragedy occurred 20 months after the death of her older sister, Abigail, who died at age 9 in April 2024. Molly's death was unexpected and happened while the family was traveling for the holidays. Sharing the heartbreaking news, Melissa mentioned that they were "devastated" and were still "in disbelief" that their little angel was no more. The influencer was not ready for such pain in her 30s, and didn't know how to deal with the "trauma". An "exhausted and shaken" Melissa wrote:
"We are devastated. In disbelief. Confused and in shock. We are exhausted and shaken after a day filled with trauma and heartbreak. I feel numb. I cannot yet accept that this is real. I am not ready for this pain."

Melissa Mae Carlton shared that her youngest daughter, Molly, expressed a heartbreaking last wish shortly before her sudden death on Christmas 2025. While boarding a plane to Arizona on December 22, 2025, Molly leaned over to her brother, Harry, and told him that she "wanted to be with Abi [late Abigail]." Little Molly frequently asked her mother, "Mummy, when is Jesus coming back so Abi can come down?" as she deeply missed her older sister. Melissa noted that while she is devastated, there is a "small sense of comfort" in believing that Molly "got what she wanted" and is now reunited with her sister, Abigail, in heaven. The influencer shared:
"Last night, through tears, Harry told me that when we boarded the plane to Arizona on Monday, Molly leaned over and told him she wanted to be with Abi. Through sobs, he said, "She got what she wanted."

Molly Carlton, the youngest daughter of Melissa Mae Carlton and her husband, Tom Carlton, died suddenly on December 25, 2025. While an official final diagnosis has not yet been released, Melissa shared medical updates of Molly's ailment. Doctors believe Molly had a genetic heart condition that led to a sudden cardiac arrest. The family was informed that even a minor illness could potentially trigger "a sudden cardiac event" in individuals with a condition like Molly's. The doctors believe Molly had a genetic heart condition and suspect this may have been the case with Abi as well. Melissa mentioned:
"I hesitate to share a medical update already because we still don't have an official diagnosis. But I do feel it's important to let people know that we have some answers this time. I'm sharing this because I believe it could be critical information for families who have experienced SUDC (sudden unexpected death in children)."

Molly's diagnosis has led doctors to suspect that the same underlying heart condition may have contributed to the death of Molly's older sister, Abigail, who passed away from sepsis in April 2024. Melissa's family is currently undergoing further genetic testing to seek more definitive answers regarding Molly's death. Melissa further shared, "Molly was able to be monitored in the hospital, which we were not able to do with Abi." She expressed being "satisfied with the answers" they were given regarding the probable reason for Molly's demise, a grievance they held during the death of their elder daughter, Abigail. Sharing Molly's final moments before passing, Melissa wrote:

"That morning, we witnessed many small miracles. Paramedics were stationed just three minutes away and arrived quickly. The pediatric trauma centre was only fifteen minutes from where we were. We were in the best possible place, with everything aligned for the best conditions and the best outcome. Her little body fought so hard. But we've been told that this type of cardiac event is, in most cases, not survivable."
We offer our heartfelt condolences to Melissa Mae Carlton's family as they deal with the loss of the two young kids.
