Melania Trump 'Fires' Jimmy Kimmel For Calling Her 'Expectant Widow', 'My Family Isn't Comedy...'

Melania Trump recently fired at Jimmy Kimmel, who forgot the line between comedy and personal life. It is worth mentioning that the late-night host, Jimmy, seemed to blur the line of morals when he went on to call the first lady an 'expectant widow'. It is a big word, as days after it, the White House witnessed open firing. 

Why did Melania Trump lash out at Jimmy Kimmel?

Melania called out Jimmy Kimmel for his distasteful remark about her and even urged broadcaster ABC to take serious action against his continued bad behaviour. For the unversed, on April 23, 2026, Jimmy Kimmel addressed Melania Trump. He went on to call her beautiful. He further added that 'Mrs Trump' has the glow of an 'expectant widow'. He was quoted as saying:

"Our First Lady, Melania, is here. Look at Melania, so beautiful. Mrs Trump, you have a glow like an expectant widow."

Soon, after this, a gunman opened fire at the White House during Saturday's dinner. As per the authorities, it is believed that the attack was targeted at the members of the Trump administration. On April 27, 2026, Melania penned a post on X and called out Jimmy Kimmel. She stated that his hateful and violent remarks are intended to divide the country.

Melania further made it clear to the host that his monologue about her 'family' isn't comedy. She went on to call Jimmy a coward who is hiding behind the ABC network, as he knows it will keep protecting him. But Melania told the network to take strict action against Jimmy Kimmel this time for calling her 'expectant widow'. She wrote:

"Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America. People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate.  A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him. Enough is enough.  It is time for ABC to take a stand. How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community."
